We had a fantastic evening here with friends - the food was absolutely delicious and our waiter, Carlos was just brilliant. The restaurant itself is stylish and tastefully decorated and the set menu for €33 was a real bargain (it also included a bottle of...wine per couple). We had several taster starters (the burrata was to die for), most of us had the cod and one of us had the beef. The dressings and sauces took the food to another level. We all enjoyed the desserts (tiramisu, a tarte and a delightful fresh pineapple carpaccio). We’d definitely recommend Casa Araez.More

Good quality ingredients and tastes in everything we’ve had. Everything was delicious, starting with the appetizers and continuing with the main course. For desert we’ve had crème brûlée which we liked and the tiramisu was a little bit too dense. The staff is very friendly....Pay attention if you want to order the whole menu or just the main course. The menu includes 3 appetizers, one main course and desert. The price is 33 euro, good quality/price ratio. Nice experience overall. Will come back.More

This restaurant simply has some of the best food anywhere. My wife and I have been there several times and never left disappointed - quite the contrary. Last time we brought the kids - 9 and 11 years old - and we were a bit...nervous as the menu doesn’t look too child friendly. Oh how wrong we were. The friendly staff was quick to suggest more simple kids courses, which ended up being some of the best food the kids ever had, and our two picky ate everything. We will be back, all of us.More

The food and service here never disappoints. We had the €33 menu…4 different starters, fish, duck or seafood pasta, pud, wine and coffee..superb! A definite place to visit

Our table was booked by our dining friends, just as well as it was full, and as people left, the gap they left was soon filled, testament in it's self of the popularity of Casa Araez. As soon as we were seated we were attended...by a very helpful knowledgeable gentleman who recommended a local Cartagena Gin, we had been told this restaurant serve the best Gins, we were not disappointed. Drinks order taken and we checked out the menu QR reader required. Also a Menu de noche was written on a wall behind another table, 3 of us chose MDN, it wasn't terribly clear until the lady server explained that each person had all 3 starters, they were small then one main course and a desert. The starters were delicious and well presented, Jamon Croquettes, thai prawn salad and another fish. Main courses 2 of us had the Prawn Linguine, one Duck and the other Goats chops, these are the only item we would not recommend. To Conclude, Service Excellent, Cleanliness Excellent, Food Excellent would recommend and will definitely be back. Only slight niggle, I felt awkward trying to read the MDN menu which was on the wall behind a table of 4 diners.More

Always visit here when we are in Pilar. Amazing food and great host in Encarnita. The set menu changes regularly and is great value for money at 30 euros

From Campoverde take the direction to the N322. Just before Carrefour go right for the trafficlight. At the end of the road, a T crossing go right. Take second right again. It is in the middle of a resedencia area.
