What a lovely local for dropping in on our circular walks to Turweston which in itself is a complete surprise tucked away as it is. A good selection of beers, excellent pub food, friendly landlord, a real traditional atmosphere, what more could you ask for?

A very traditional attractive pub with an extensive menu which is very reasonably priced. Situated slightly off the main roads ensures you can sit outside & enjoy the traditional village setting.

A lovely classic pub. Off the beaten track easily bypassed in these modern times. Well worth seeking out, child friendly and lovely outdoor space.

A very friendly pub. Served good, old fashioned, pub group and very decent beer. The liver & bacon was a real heart.

A Sunday lunch just like my mum used to cook. A simple choice of beef or chicken and freshly cooked vegetables. The beef was not as rare as I would like but that's personal choice. Lovely roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings and lots of gravy....More

5 of us enjoyed a gorgeous meal We all chose something different from the menu and none of us were disappointed. Beautiful homemade food, everyone was impressed with the quality. A few of us managed desserts, which were equally delicious Great hosts and lovely staff
