Our experience was wonderful. They went above and beyond our expectations. Even though we did not have a reservation, Juta got us an amazing table with a spectacular view. Their food was amazing. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in Rarotonga.

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at The Little Polynesian for 9 nights during February 2020. We dined at the restaurant on 6 of those nights and all meals were beautifully presented, of very high quality and very well cooked. The flash-fried...Salt and Pepper squid entree and the Seafood Laksa main (the Chef's special for three days) were standouts, with the rack of lamb we enjoyed on our first night a very close 3rd. The dinner service from front of house staff Jiuta, Christian, Suzie, Marilyn and Meree was just lovely - very friendly, intuitive and helpful without being in any way imposing. And the breakfast service from Shania was also excellent. All the 'Little Poly' staff are a great asset to this resort and we could not be happier with our experience there. Thank you to all the amazing staff at our newest favourite 'home away from home' resort, The Little Polynesian - we arrived as guests and left feeling like family. To me, that says it all.More

We heard that this restaurant has delicious food. So we decided to have a try. The setting was one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced .once we set down The Waiter introduce himself to us ask on names through the whole night he...address us by our name. It was very close to the beach and watch the sunset while we were eating. The food itself was delicious I had pork ribs with salad and potato wedges. And my wife had tuna steak and she loved it. I would recommend this restaurant anyone who come to Rarotonga it’s deserve more than five stars.More

Without doubt this was the best experience we had during 8 days on Rarotonga. A stunning location, top quality service, Michelin quality food – all at fairly standard prices for better quality island restaurants. It is well worth making a reservation – and if you...have the opportunity it is worth calling in beforehand to choose which table you wish to have. For four of us we asked for a table under one of the gazebos at the side of the amazing pool, and with views of the sea (and potentially of the sunset if it is not cloudy). We each had a starter and a main course chosen with difficulty from the tempting menu. Food arrived in good time and was nicely served by two wait staff. Dishes were attractively presented and the food absolutely delicious. Portions were generous but not over done – just right for what we wanted. It’s worth repeating how good is the ambiance – it was just perfect with attentive professional service in classy surroundings.More

A real fine restaurant for foodies. Service was attentive but not intrusive and the quality of the food served was unsurpassed not only in the Cook Islands but in other restaurants in cities across the globe. We had Ika Mata,!seafood marinara which was not overwhelmed...by pasta, spicy lamb Polynesian style. We accepted another recommendation for dessert-the petit fours which were simply delicious, beautifully made and served. Our regret was not having time to visit again before departing CI. One last note- the bill was much smaller than lesser restaurants with inflated reputations. If you’re on the island ring and book you’ll not be disappointedMore

Me and my girlfriend went there for dinner. The staff is really nice and accommodating. We ordered the antipasto to share which was really good then my girlfriend had the pasta and I had the tuna. Both really good, maybe the pasta could have been...a little bit better but overall happy with the restaurant.More

I gave Little Polynesia 5 SOLID stars for hitting virtually every point: superior cuisine, exceptional and genuinely friendly service, very reasonable on costs. I would go so far as to say I have not had this perfect a combo as long as I can remember....The facility is a very beautiful part of a luxury resort but the prices are totally affordable with out any compromise in creativity or quality. Our last full dinner was a 3 course Christmas dinner with cocktails and wine. While we shared all dishes so as to be able to enjoy more variety, I would have been reticent to choose a main with turkey but for my experience with this chef. I was certainly NOT disappointed. Once you have come there once, even for just cocktails, they know your names and you feel like a family guest. Juita was such an extraordinarily nice fellow from Fiji Shenaya and Susie I believe were from the Philipines. Kremir was the chef and I had to shake his hand that last night. Christian was our excellent drink mixer. I am a wine and beer guy but once I had the wonderful cocktails at Little Polynesian I HAD to come back for more. Sadly people post 5 Star reviews if the food doesn't kill them which leaves truly excellent place rated like ordinary.More
