We chose the restaurant because of the roof terrace and the view. It is very interesting to set eyes on the activity on the main square of the town. The food is unfortunately not good, the worst food we had during our one week holiday. The meat is chewy, the vegetables are not fresh. While the bill is significant... Our... More

We had a nice dinner here. The restaurant has a good location on the town's main square. The portions were big and the food was of good quality. Also the pie (with caramel and banana) I ordered for dessert, was very good! The lady who served us was friendly, sweet and funny. We had a lovely evening here.

This is the best choice in order to eat a decent dinner if you don't want to drive and you are staying in the village. Food is just about ok. Prices are, as per usual inflated...but you know what you get in this coast. Average food at silly prices and foreigners ready to pay that and leave a tip on... More

This was a most enjoyable lunch in an excellent location overlooking the square in Casares. It was perfect for dining while people watching in the square. Overhead, eagles glided - amazing. Food here is very, very good. The service was very friendly and overall very good value for money. I was driving, but I am told the wine was delicious... More

This is the second time we have been here on both our holidays. A fantastic spot to watch the tiny village of Casares in either full flow or sleepy slumber. Whether out for a drink or food it is an excellent choice. Today we had grilled calarmares which was a first for me and the caprese salad. Both were -excellent... More

Great location in town square. Big portions, very fresh. Friendly staff. Food took a reassuringly long amount of time to arrive!

Great place for people watching and great tapas at a reasonable price. In the centre of one of costa del sols prettiest mountain villages. Make sure you go up to the castle top for spectacular views. It not as difficult a walk as it looks. Actually rather easy even for a 60 year old like me. Gibraltar and Morocco can... More

We visited Casares on our last night in Spain. We were actually looking for another restaurant but after having difficulty finding it we figured it would be nice to eat where we could overlook the town square. We went up the stairs to sit and were immediately greeted by the owners Yorkie. We were seated and and ordered while the... More

Great location on a little square in the beautifull town of Casares. Unfortunately a somewhat rude owner serving overpriced poor food somewhat ruined the experience. Truly felt like we were more of a bother than customers and found prices to be very high for the region. I would suggest definitely making the trip to Casares as it is a great... More
