A warm and a welcoming bar is one part of the Albion the other side is a comfortable and well proportioned restaurant. A good selection of local food including shrimps on a gently warmed crumpet. Staff were warm and welcoming.

Starters were excellent, main courses were fine though not serving on plates doesn't add anything for me. Good service, no complaints.

After a 'windswept' walk along the beach we returned for a very welcome lunch at The Albion. We were not disappointed, my husband had the pheasant, pigeon (game lunch) with a delicious potato dish & vegetables and I had the fish, chips, mushy peas and lovely homemade tartare sauce. Both lunches were excellent and our table had a lovely view... More

Stayed at another hotel just down the promenade but did not fancy eating there. Found the Albino and glad I did. First night I had the fish stew which was probably the best I had ever eaten. Lots of seafood in a lovely sauce. Second night I had the lake land lamb. Beautifully cooked with lovely fresh veg. Staff were... More

We were surprised by the quality of the food on offer - better than the normal pub grub on offer although the portions were ginormous which prevented us from trying the desert menu.

The Albion is the heart of Arnsid village and has magnificent views over the Kent estuary/Morecambe Bay. Best place in the world is to sit outside on a sunny day. Good real ale: recommend 'the Bore.'

Ate twice at the Albion, once in the cosy bar and once in the restaurant. Both meals very nice. Friendly staff. Good cask beers.

we didn't get to eat here, although from the reviews glad we didn't. We were going for a walk and called in to see if we could get food later. The bar staff checked and told us 5, though when we returned at 4, they told us they had finished serving. There were still tables reserved. It seems like they... More
