Great tartar and decent pasta. Unfortunately we were not up to test grill which was promoted. Sweets were perhaps a bit below expectations. Wine selection and is wide and good. Notice exeptional selection of Single malts. Ambient is great and service as well. Pricing perhaps a bit too high, but ... All in all good experience butat the same time... More

Right from our first lunch, we were welcomed with open arms and treated to a series of delicious meals (two lunches and a fabulous dinner) all enjoyed on a shady terrace. If you come here (and... Old house in countyside near Verona. Great setting for a relaxing meal. Local food, which was beautifully cooked. The chef brought out some of the dishes. Worth trying the 'taster' menus. Good wine list with local wines. Reasonable prices, and dishes were served promptly.

This is not trattoria! This home-style restaurant is fairly expensive, with a very limited choice of dishes. There are no menus at a fixed price, as is customary in the trattoria. We were offered only three choices of vegetarian dishes. We chose one of them-pasta with tomatoes and ricotta. We were outraged when found there pieces of meat...:( Dropped the... More

As we came (it was about 9 pm) we were sitted by a lady which I suppose is the mother (while the father and the son... More

Never make a judgement based on the place where a restaurant is located. Especially not in Italy where you can find some of the best restaurants in the countryside and not in the city. Trattoria El Bagolo is one of those examples: situated in the small village of Sona, this trattoria knows how to amaze its clientele. We called it... More
