Delicious food and a peaceful atmosphere

We have had lunch at this restaurant twice now and both times we have thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The menu included an English translation. There is a wide variety of food to choose from, but I particularly enjoyed the Italia pizza! All food was fresh and made to order. On top of the delicious food, the service was great and the calm atmosphere made it a very pleasant place to stop for lunch. I would definitely recommend!

Best tiramisu and seafood

We ordered two pasta dishes. The first was a freshly made homemade pasta with seafood and the second was raviolli with lemon zuchinni and shrimp. Both dishes were outstanding and the seafood was divine, and tasted fresh. We also ordered sides of eggplant and salad which were plentiful. The tiramisu for dessert was the best we have ever tasted - especially the cream. The serving sizes were decent, although this was a pricier restaurant than other places. Great service! Highly recommend this place in Meta.

One of the best meals we’ve had the whole trip!! My group of 4 came here for dinner after not arriving in Meta until after 8pm. We ordered the margherita pizza, the gnocchi Sorrentino, the sciatelli de mare & the cheese ravioli. We’ve been traveling through Italy for 5 days and this was the best meal we’ve had so far! The service was amazing, our server was so friendly, and made lots of suggestions about other places to eat & drink. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal in Meta!

A great location for tasty food in an intersting location.

A great location for tasty local food. The retaraunt catered for my wife's gluten intolerance and offered both gluten free pizza and pasta. She ate here three times and never had a gluten exposure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The young male waiter especially helpful. Fortunately for us, he had very good English and was not only able to assist with the menu but also with information about local services. We sat outside on the verandah for each visit and this was an interseting spot to observe the ebb and flow of local activity. The prices were very reasonable and the food excellent. It was arguably the best restarount for our tastes in the friendly village.

We were outside in the terrace with a mushroom stove, a very cold evening but the waiter, attentive to the needs of the customers, often passed by the tables, also to adjust the stove. But let's get to the food: exceptional frying. Good pizzas, but don't expect "Neapolitan" pizza (the limp one that bends in your hands); we don't like it that way, we prefer it more rigid and crunchy and therefore we liked the Don Giovanni pizza. We would like to return to taste first and second courses too, because the cuisine is worth it. The only advice is a drizzle of raw oil on the pizzas or, if there was one, an extra drizzle of oil.😅

Even though we were there 1 week ago I would like to write this review to recommend this place to everyone: We arrived in Meta at 9pm and despite not having booked we were seated at a free table, next to a gas stove that heated the room. The place is well organized and welcoming. Don Giovanni is an authentic culinary paradise that has conquered my heart and my palate with its extraordinary gastronomic offer. The Pizza Don Giovanni, a crunchy and tasty masterpiece, delighted my senses, while the Pizza Mazz and Panell represented a winning combination of exceptional flavours. The mixed fry, a symphony of crunchiness and marine freshness, made my gastronomic journey unforgettable. The lemon scallops, tender and succulent, are a hymn to culinary perfection. The service, characterized by professionalism and friendliness, contributed to creating a truly pleasant experience. A single note on the slightly salty sauce and the slightly burnt cornices, otherwise Don Giovanni stands out for its culinary excellence and the warmth of its staff, making every visit an occasion to remember. We were near Meta on vacation and we used The Fork Yums in this pizzeria that accepted them. In 4 we had 1 daisy (9 euros), 2 Don Giovanni (12 euros each), 1 Positanese (12 euros), a dessert, as well as a beer, 1 water and 1 Coke of 1 liter. Total bill 74 euros, which became 24 with the Yums discount regularly applied. We had a great time.

This is a great place to eat in the area. A bottle of wine is reasonably priced. The mixed green salad and pizza were tasty. The restaurant has a very wide selection of food choices. The tiramisu homemade and was OUTSTANDING. I don't know if I will ever find that good of tiramisu again. The service was also good which is nice to find as we have been to many restaurants where the service was marginal.

We discovered this place through the fork. Friendly staff, very varied menu and very good quality of food. Aubergine parmigiana a little low but with good flavor, excellent courgette flowers; really good and plentiful spaghetti alla nerano; good quality grilled meat and fish. I also recommend the homemade tiramisu. Overall a pleasant discovery hidden in the alleys of Meta. I give 4 stars and no more for the location as it is a "veranda" located on the street.

Loved Don Giovanni, a real find! We visited 3 times while we were in Meta & everything was delicious. Seafood & pasta dishes were full of flavour & beautifully presented, chef takes a real pride in his work. Servers friendly & welcoming, we sat outside, real nice vibe, wish we lived closer! Forget every other place in Meta, if you want to eat the most delicious pizza and pasta you should definitely come here. This is one of the best place so far. I’ve eaten in Meta!😋 five star is not enough for this place, great service, very friendly staff and it’s amazing atmosphere!

Very welcoming and familiar place. The owner Eduardo together with his staff are very kind and attentive to the customer. Impeccable service and quality products. Don Giovanni is a must-eat in Meta

Danilo, Adamo, and the rest of the sweet staff made my first dinner experience in meta so pleasurable. The food, wine, and service was spectacular! I got to capricciosa pizza and their recommended red wine. I have a dairy allergy and they made sure to make my pizza without cheese. They made sure I was accommodated for my entire time :)

Best food!

My wife and I already came here for a beautiful lunch right from the train station the previous day and we decided to try dinner out here and wow, simply the best spaghetti bolognese & chicken breast I've ever had. Beside from the amazing food the server spoke excellent English and was very friendly. Definitely recommend stopping by for a bite to eat!

Great restaurant. The food is delicious with a wide menu. Went with my family and we all loved it. Grilled chicken is so delicious, everything really. The desserts are to die for too and the service is excellent. The location is in a very quiet and quaint place. You won’t regret it.
