Ricardo is a highly skilled and renowned chef with training and various parts of the world. You will notice this in the balance of the culinary delights he serves. A balance of flavors the way food was meant to be enjoyed. From the moment you step in to his restaurant, he makes you feel as though you are in his living room and he is cooking for you and he put his heart and soul into it. Give him an idea of what kind of food you like and he will produce an amazing presentation of old world Italian cooking. Do not miss this restaurant in an obscure out of the way place near Hotel Alimari on the boardwalk below the hotel. Take the back steps from the hotel’s pool, turn right and around behind you will see the boardwalk. Then just take a left and you will approach his restaurant first.

Best food and service we have ever had

Me and my partner came for dinner, it was like a private dining experience on the beach. Instead of ordering we allowed the host to cook us his best dishes. They were all amazing. The scenery and atmosphere is like something out of a movie. Amazing restaurant!

Incredible food, impeccable service

WOW what an experience. If you are a good this is a must-visit. Right on the beach in a gorgeous location, the food was out of this world. We got drinks that were really good, we got the prawn carpaccio, clam spaghetti, ravioli, octopus, and the pear dessert. Everything was fantastic and our waiter was so helpful and accommodating, helping us make decisions and providing recommendations. We also got the orange melon amaro which was so unique and special. We enjoyed everything here! Call ahead to make a reservation if you want to sit outside by the beach

the location is very beautiful. Too bad the service is bad. we waited 40 minutes for the first course. At the end of these dishes we waited more than 30 minutes for them to come and take the dishes away and ask us if we wanted anything else. the dishes were judged between acceptable (spaghetti with clams and pistachios) to terrible (cod which was raw inside and completely tasteless and watery) to so-so (the tagliatelle). Price quite important. It's a shame, we have a house nearby, we would have gladly taken advantage of it other times if the quality and service had been different.

The food serving portions of the pasta we ordered were very small, along with the wine pour. When you are paying 7 Euros for wine, you expect a decent size glass of wine and this was a very skimpy amount. The mixed salad was tasty, thus the 2 stars for the review. The bread was good, but very little of it. I don't understand it as pasta and bread are relatively cheap items to serve at a restaurant so the portions should be a dece t portion size. Our server didn't really engage with us and never asked us how the food was. It was a very disappointing meal and we walked away hungry. Skip this restaurant as there are a lot better restaurants out there.

Elegant, evocative place with a fascinating view at sunset. The staff is very attentive to customer care, and above all very polite. The owners care a lot about the service and their restaurant and above all are very friendly in their welcome and throughout their stay in their restaurant. Absolutely perfect evening. We arrived at 8pm, enjoyed a sunset spritz with the splendid fried fish and then had dinner. Everything was delicious, service characterized by kindness. The owner and his father are two people of rare courtesy. Absolutely recommended!!!!!

We actually wanted to go to the restaurant next to this one, but they didn’t have any free tables. Even though we didn’t make a reservation, Verricello had a table for us! We didn’t know what kind of food they served beforehand, but were pleasantly surprised when we saw the menu. For the appetizers we got the amberjack carpaccio and tuna tartare, which were delicious. For the main course we had cuttlefish ink tagliolini with mussels and caprese ravioli with prawns. The pasta was good, but a little bit too salty (coming from a person that loves salty food). The ravioli was also good, but the amount of ravioli you got was poor. It wasn’t enough to get you full. You would also get a small basket with bread, but the bread was very hard and we missed a little bit of butter. We decided to end strong with a dessert and got the “egg” and something with peer (I don’t remember the exact name). The egg was delicious and the peer dessert was also good. We loved the table setting and the location was very nice. Also, the lady in the white polo was very kind!

Excellent, excellent, excellent!! The food was absolutely exceptional. We have eaten at many restaurants along the Amalfi Coast but the food here would be the best by far. Portions are just right to have three courses. Prawn ravioli was absolutely divine - so much flavour. Pity we only found this on our last night in Meta.

Restaurant located on the sea offers a nice view (especially at sunset) and some relaxation to spend a romantic evening. we found ourselves in this splendid setting on one of the beaches in Sorrento. We had lunch here eating grilled octopus and marinated anchovies as an appetizer. Afterwards we had two first courses including spaghetti with clams and a homemade ravioli with clams and prawns which we highly recommend. Polite, friendly and above all helpful staff. We will definitely return and highly recommend it. 💯
