A gem of a little Stube. Lots of character and the cakes were simply the best ever sampled in either Austria or Swizerland. The Jagertorte was to die for with a light nutty sponge, a chocolate layer, a preiselbeer layer (v. tangy) and a chocolate coating (ueberzug - I just love this word!). Lovely friendly hosts and happy to indulge... More

We were staying in Ischgl, but tried to find a more authentic place (most of the places in Ischgl are too touristic/ too expensive..). We found this place through TripAdvisor of course. Only 10 minutes car drive from Ischgl. The place is not very big and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Staff was very friendly and answered all our... More

Typical Austrian food in nice, small restaurant in centre to Galtur. Prices are ok, it gets noisy when full.

We had lunch here on a very wet Saturday after a week of perfect indigo blue skies. The lunch certainly made up for the weather. The menu choices are excellent and typical of the area.Be hungry. I'm unsure if there is an English translation of the menu but ask for clarification if needed. I'm not fluent in German but managed the... More

We were skiing in the Iscghl in february 2017 and stayed in Tirol. We found this place in the Tripadvisor and we did not disapponted! The food was authentic Austrian home food, really good and it was not too expensive. Good service too! Thanks

This restaurant is a traditional Tyrolean ambience and friendly service. Large selection of traditional Tyrolean dishes. Poorly they speak English but you get along :) I recommend.

Austrian basic restaurant with helpful staff. The food is quickly a your table which indicates that it is pre pared. The vegetables are not fresh...must be out of the freezer. The food is tasteful and good. We enjoyed the restaurant twice during our week in GALTUER. You should reserve a table if you are a party more than 4 and... More

The food is excellent! It is a little bit crowded, but they manage to please everyone. It is not possible to make reservations.

Right in the center of town, this seems to be THE place where everyone goes, but this is one time when it's worth following the crowd. The atmosphere is lively -- and it fills up after 1800, so go early -- but feels friendly rather than crowded. It manages to hit all of the touristy buttons (waitresses in Dirndls, etc)... More

Tiroler Stube is right in the centre of the village so it is really convenient if you are staying in Galtür. It has a cozy traditional feel and there is a warm welcome. There is a good range of traditional Austrian cuisine, and some other dishes (e.g. Ham and eggs!), plus specials. So far we have had the käsespätzle, omelette... More
