Saw this restaurant listed on the Lonely Planet website and decided to pop in last week as we were driving the wild atlantic way, it was helpfully en route. 3 courses for 32 euro was fantastic value, menu full of beautiful local prime fish, perfectly...More

Please don't visit this place. The service is terrible. The waiter shouted at me because I asked him if we could push two tables together. The food is really poor value. The John Dory costs 32 Euros. It's so over cooked you could use it...More

Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback during your holidays. The original booking for your table was for 10 people at 5pm. At 5pm one of your group came to the restaurant and explained that the group had increased and would...More

From the awards on the wall it is easy to see that this is a restaurant living on its glory days. Now it is just a overpriced tourist trap. Avoid it and go to the local golf club for better food, better value and better...More

This place at Greencastle on Lough Foyle has a fine car park. From outside there is no indication of the quality dining available. Local fish is served. The proprietor knows his wines and has some unique bottles

Kealys, in my opinion is the best seafood restaurant in Ireland. It is the freshest local produce which makes the food delicious, from the homemade scones, chowder to die for, the biggest sweetest crab claws I've ever had anywhere, and absolutely beautiful salmon and haddock,...More

Kealy's was recommended by our B&B. If you did not know better from the outside it could be mistaken for an ordinary pub. On closer inspection however you see the collection of resturaunt awards on the wall. The dining room is unremarkable but the same...More

The menus were confusing, and the early bird menu didn't really represent good value for money. €22 for 2 courses for adults and €8 for children is simply too over priced for what we actually got. The chowder starter was OK, but clearly some cheap...More

First I will say they were very accommodating with our group. I rang to book a table on the day and told them two of us were vegan and they catered for us easily. The vegan options were fine, they did try to go outside...More

We dined here recently as a couple and with friends. We decided to go for Earlybird menu, but all decided it was more expensive than anticipated, though food was delicious I have never had a dinner without being offered vegetables so meal was a little...More
