This is by far our favourite place to eat in the north of Tenerife; we aim to visit each time we're in Tenerife. We've worked our way through the menu; absolutely everything is super. Cannot fault the quality of food or service; simply excellent !

We went last week but they were closed due to refurbishment. We met a lady at the door who apologised, suggested we go over the road to one of their other restaurants. We did, and after we came out she saw us and asked if we enjoyed the food there, we did. Will visit again when they open as they... More

Authentic Canarian cuisine with a modern twist. Amazing wine out their own vineyards. I tried the typical rabbit dish called "Conejo en Salmorejo" that comes with the very well known "Papas arrugadas", the Canarian boiled potatoes. If you can, book a table at the window and enjoy the unique views!

I loved everything. The food was delicious, the recommended wine was excellent, the view is spectacular, the waiters were really nice and the decoration and ambience is lovely. I'll go back for sure.

The views are breathtaking and food can only be described as rustic and well balanced.Staff are considerate to non-Spanish speakers and take the time to explain the menus.

Almost faultless for both the food and the exceptional views across the Orotava valley. Tables can be a bit cramped, especially those by the sought after window position. Private parking and produce from their own vegetable garden.

We went to el Calderito De La Abuela on a very quiet april evening. Maybe it was not the season, at the beginning we were actually the only customers. Staff was friendly and service excellent. Menu is a bit limited, but the food was really nice! The only disappointment were the veggies directly from the freezer :-(. I thought they... More

Dear Customer, Thank you so much for your comment about our restaurant. We appreciate comments of all sorts as it forms the basis for further improvements. Having said this, I was surprised by your opinion about the frozen vegetables. Our vegetables come practically daily from our vegetable garden right next to our restaurant and from our vineyard in the near... More

Good local cuisine. We went for lunch and the place was packed with locals which is always a good sign. It is definitely off the tourist trail but well worth a visit

Just finished an evening meal here - a must visit restaurant. Stunning views over Puerto de la Cruz, suggest you look up sunset times and make sure you've got a table on the balcony. Service very friendly, even advised me that the portions of the starter I initially chose were too big for one and I'd be better off with... More

This place in quite close to La Orotava and overlooks Puerto de la Cruz. When I say overlooks, I really mean it. Have a look at their website. The view is great. Now the food! Great also. We were fortunate enough to have had the ear of the owner and he came to the table to introduce himself and each... More
