we were visiting on a cruise ship in this historic city for the day and met friends staying here longer for lunch. we found this restaurant in plaza santisima faz full of young men running around helping patrons and trying to get more customers to eat at this establishment. we had a great meal consisting of fried fresh anchovies, an... We loved the little cute plaza this restaurant was situated in, and got pulled in by an aggressive hostess. I guess if the resaurant needs an agressive hostess, it speaks for itself. There was nothing good abou the food, it was quite expensive and tasted nothing. I wish restaurants at nice locations like this could be better. I would come... More

This restaurant is in the picturesque Plaza Santisima Faz in the old quarter. You dine outside if you wish with umbrellas for shade in Summer and heaters for warmth in winter. The rice dishes are superb and as good as you will get in Alicante. The staff are friendly and welcoming although a little haphazard if you try and make... More

On coming across the Plaza where this restaurant is situated, we thought it looked like a great place to spend the evening – there are about 5 places to eat in the square but we chose this as it seemed the busiest. We ordered two fish starters and a salad to share – but they were so big that we... More

Decided on this restaurant because of the beautiful setting in a lovely old part of town. Greeted by a very happy chap and escoted to a lovely table perfectly set with gleaming white crisp tablecloths and servietes. We started with a very large portion of garlic prawns, perfectly cooked. The two main course were equally delicious , a paelle, and... More

We have owned a house near Alicante for 10 years and visit the city many times each year. I can honestly say that the meal we had here was bar far the worst we have ever had in Alicante! I'm not going to rant on about this and that but the main courses were so salty they really in edible.... More

Set in a nice courtyard location we had a pleasant meal and were serenaded by a Spanish guitar player. My vegetable paella was delicious as was my crisp cold glass of rose. Pleasant service, reasonable price. Most other customers were Spanish although there is an English menu

Just around the corner from our apartment and we were advised not to eat local. Lovely three course lunch with wine and beer for two for under €50. Would recommend

Fabulous location, in the Old Town. Really good food and great, friendly staff. Wished we had more nights to return to this restaurant

Very long service and poor food quality. Time: 15 min for starters, additional 35 minutes for paella and same applied for coffee and even the bill! Food wise, Paella is nothing exceptional and fideua is an rip off (see picture, they prepare it with coquillettes/macaronis). Only the starter were nice, with quality ham and Russian salad.
