We ate here once during our visit to Albarracin, but returned for drinks on a couple of occasions. It's a friendly bar with good music and an interesting local crowd. The food was very good - simple, home cooked but a bit more interesting than the standard offerings.

Love the place. It is a small place, but you can feel a cozy ambience from the owner/chef and a good service. Nice homemade Arragon region food. Will go back again tomorrow for dinner.

Popped in for lunch and ordered three dishes between two people. The result was a preposterous amount of food for very little money. Should also mention that everything was excellent, with a special commendation for the jamon de Teruel. A very small place with a good atmosphere. Worth the short walk up from the main square.

Delicious tapas - fresh tomato and basil, a tortilla and all freshly cooked. The service is wonderful with a few suggestions and rase tests of a vino tinto. Locals chatted and great background music.

Excellent food - all dishes were great. Gazpacho was great, so was the tomato\cheese salad (extremely fresh). Service was great.

My partner and I just had our second meal at La Despensa in two days. Great atmosphere (just a block off the main square), really warm and friendly owner / chef (not always the case with all tapas bars) and excellent food. Highly recommend the tiritas de lomo -- thin strips of pork loin with a spicy tomato sauce and... More

This is a great place to stop and have some fantastic value tapas with a drink in a lively atmosphere. It is not a restaurant more a small bar serving simple home cooked food, which is cooked fresh to order and although the service is not fast it is worth the wait.

We visited soon after a fiesta and the village was quiet with a lot of restaurants closed. La Depensa was open and we were lucky to arrive early as it soon became very busy - the food was excellent and the atmoshere very friendly
