This is the smallest of the restaurants on Grand Rue in St. Chinian. We've been here several times for reasonably priced dinners and have never been disappointed. It is rarely crowded, so service is good and attentive.

We visited Le Village on New Years Eve. Not a Reveillon but a special menu nevertheless. The food was fine and very reasonably priced but this restaurant is very long and narrow and I find the ambience a bit stark! I imagine the outside area next to the church would be nice in the summer.

Great menu, great service and amazing food. Good options in terms of full menus or parts of, for smaller appetite. The owners are so nice and very accomodating to special needs. Food is amazingly fresh and well prepared.

The last review we wrote of Le Village was very disappointed. Since that time, a new chef and owner has taken over the restaurant. He is delightful and creates delicious and beautiful meals. I especially enjoy going there, because there are a number of foods that I am unable to eat. The chef is always able to find some delicious... More

We tried all the St Chinian restaurants and we found the service here to be the best. The food was rather too rich for some in our party.

We had the cheapest lunch menu - 3 courses with wine for very reasonable price and both food and drink excellent. Everything very clean and the decor was most attractive. Service very good.

Easy and simple menu. Service is relaxed as all of French restaurants are. Place was full every time you went by, so thought ourselves lucky to get in. Waitress very patient with out little French words. Will def go back again when in France next year

This charming little restaurant in the heart of Saint Chinian (France) serves a good selection for the luncheon Plat du jour. The service was at a relaxed pace, not to be confused with slow. In France eating is an experience, a time to savour the food, and talk of many things in pleasant surroundings. our foursome had good food at... More
