I was there two weeks ago and i decided to invite all my cousins and family for lunch, we were a party of 12 people. They reserved a nice private room for us and the service was excellent, they never missed any needs at the table.

As part of a Road Scholar walking tour we spent a morning in Sarzana and ate lunch at Il Loggaiato. What a unique, beautiful, historic restaurant. We were greeted and led to an upstairs dining room with a huge table ready for our group of eighteen. Each room we walked through was decorated more beautifully than the previous room. All... More

I come here at the bar for aperitivo almost all the times I visit Sarzana. It is the second time I have dinner at the restaurant and first in the summer time in the outdoor loggiato. It is a real antique italian loggiato of Tuscany flavour. All tableware and environment settings are of grand class. The service is a kind... More

It not easy to find. It's above a pastry shop. The food is well balanced and tastes great. We dined outside on the 'terrace' surrounded by arches.

The down stairs is a fabulous pastry shop with unbelievable deserts. The upstairs is very elegant and we had a delicious 5 course meal with wine. There is a lovely terrace garden you can dine in, the service was great

We did not have much time to spend in Sarzana, but we really liked the small streets and saw a lot of cosy bars and restaurants during our walk in the center so we decided to stay for an aperitivo. We almost sat down in a normal bar when suddenly we saw an advert on a closed door that il... More

For a good coffee, nice historical atmosphere and delicious pastry you should definitely visit this place. Just a walk through this shop/coffeebar is an experience on itself. You can also buy some nice pastries, cookies etc as a gift.

I spend leisure time in Sarzana during my vacation in the Montemarcello country area. Gemmi is a splendid pasticceria and an aperitivo spot you will not forget. This is because of the atmosphere you participate. Very Italian very European. we asked for aperitivo Negroni Sbagliato and it was perfect, in perfect glasses, with perfect little appetizers and nuts and patatne.

With a really good chef, this charming restaurant could be world class. The candle lit sparkle of wine glasses against pale yellow damask table cloths and napkins spells old world luxury and grace. The wait service is professional, patient and gracious. The furnishings in the dining rooms are well chosen antiques, and even the dining chairs wear dresses. The multiple... More
