Excellent, fresh food and good service. We went almost everyday for breakfast and dinner during our staying at San Juan la Laguna.

Café y restaurante Atitlan serves outstanding local organic coffee in a french press or as espresso. The staff are even better than the coffee! The food is great - and the service is excellent! Stop in for a coffee or a meal and leave satisfied....You’ll gain new friends through your experience.More

I was astonished to see the level of detail in the way I was served. I’ve been to fancier restaurants but this one could be confused for one. While the little store may not compete in the looks department, the food and the way the...food was prepared was certainly five star. Our food was truly delicious! The pineapple so juicy, the pancakes very scrumptious with honey, the beans with plantains cooked so well, and the coffee... just classic Guatemalan high quality coffee!More

We came here for an amazing and very typically Guatemalan dinner. The food was so good that we came back the following morning for breakfast! Gloria and her family were lovely hosts. I would definitely recommend this if you want to experience authentic San Juan!

For a little hole in the wall with a not so impressive menu, I have to admit that the omelet I had here was right up there with the better breakfasts places I've eaten and the smoothies were delicious. I was surprisingly pleased.

Gloria, who owns this restaurant, is one of the most kind people who will meet in San Juan and that kindness is reflected in the vibe and the food. The menu contains the basic meals that are prepared to order and tasty. Coffee is prepared...in french presses, so if you like it strong, say so when you order and they willl oblige. After you meal you may want to check out their art gallery and new ceramics store. Gloria and husband Valerio are talented people!More

The food is made to order, tasty and very well priced. The fruit drinks are made as you request; with or without water or sugar or milk. I love the typical Guatemala breakfast and had that on two of my visits. It's a small place...that packed in some 15 folks with each tabled filled as soon as they became vacated. Take notice of the art work on the walls. Chances are your cook painted them. Gloria and her husband both artist own the art gallery next door. My wife had bought two of her paintings before we had eaten here. That next morning I was surprised to see the cook was the same gregarious artist from next door.More
