This restaurant is well worth the long bumpy drive. It is set on the side of a mountain and the road up is unpaved and a little nerve wrecking because it is a two way road but is not really built for two cars. Once you get there the place is beautiful a very rustic feel to it to match... More

We come here every year with family and friends and the result is always the same, exceptional. The amount of food to eat and the taste of the dishes it is something unbelievable. We are always satisfied of the quality of the food, everything is local, fresh and tasty. The price is not expensive for the selection and the quantity... More

We got there early and didn't have a reservation so they literally put a table cloth on the table in the entrance-way. We asked if they had any other table, but the waiter said every single table had a reservation and this was the best he could do. While we sat there, the waiters gathered at the window and made... Excellent lunch. Great location, food is amazing. The amount of food may kill you but at least you will die a happy man!

Yes, it is a tough place to find, and the road isn't good. But a warm welcome awaits this mainly local restaurant. Some staff, including the friendly owner, speak English. Food is wholesome, local and plentiful- aimed at the local market. As a result the value is astonishing. Let your waiter guide you to the best and freshest dishes, and... More

Definitely off the beaten path, and absolutely worth the drive. Salvatore is a gracious host and his phenomenal restaurant seamlessly fills to the brim with anxious diners that obviously make the trek frequently so reservations are a must. His wife handles the back of the house and the more than ample portions of locally grown lovingly prepared delights come out... More

We ventured inland from Mazara del Vallo for a Sunday night dinner at Ardigna, taking off without really having an address or directions and slowly finding our way by asking locals for directions. Wherever we stopped to ask, the mention of Ardigna brought people to rave without end :) Make sure your GPS can find the address, then take the... More

My daughter and I had a fabulous dinner at Ardigna. Every single item had been freshly made on the premises, the amount of food was more than enough (no, we couldn't finish it all), and the service was excellent. We had heard so much about this restaurant from native Trapanesi and were not disappointed in the least. Plus it's in... More

Such an amazing place to experience Sicily. The first time I walked in, the owner told us what was fresh that day (lamb) and so we said we'll take that, a couple other dishes, and whatever you think is good. Oh, and our wine. It was one of the most amazing meals I've experienced in my life. To add to... More

We stayed for 5 nights in one of the three rental homes attached to the restaurant this summer (July 2014). They are owned separately from the restaurant but as there is nothing within 30min drive by car from the apartment, we were very happy for the be able to use this lovely restaurant. The owner is the friendliest guy and... More
