I've been with family and friends on several occasions.
And it's always a hit both for the place, the food and its service.
My wife also makes the company dinner, and they reserve the whole place for themselves, quite a detail!!
After dinner you can also have drinks and accompanied by music.
Well, if anyone has any doubts about going to lunch or dinner either on a daily menu or on a carte, I fully recommend this place for what is said in the title of my review.
Very welcoming and well decorated place, the service is very correct and of course you eat very well which is the main base in a restaurant.
We will continue to come whenever possible.
It is unfortunate not to have photos of this last visit to check its good presentation in the dishes of daily menu.

Flor de Sal Restaurant. Luxury restaurant, awesome service have done super well. Spectacular food was very good. They have a perfect atmosphere, their decoration is idyllic and elegant. Best restaurant I've ever been to. They're doing great. And it's all worth it. 👌😊

One of the best experiences we had during our two week yearly summer vaccatipb, we have tried many luxury restaurants in Sitges/Vilanova/Barcelona, such as el nacional, marejol, cal purgat, but sal de flor had one of the best tasting food, and the service was excellent. We were searching for an authentic restaurant after visiting Montserrat, and we were pleasantly surprised, I even considered going back the day after, but my wife preferred that our last day should be beach, but we will surely come back!

The restaurant only offeers Weekend Menu, closed price with a few starters to share and main dish to choose. Not veggie options, nor other dishes to offer.
It was our second time here, but the experience was not good as the first one, despite the waiter tried to do his best to accomplish the lack of veggie options.

This was my first time to Spain and this place came highly recommended. I’m from America and felt a warm welcome the moment I walked in. The food and atmosphere was tremendous! We got calamari, pantatas bravas, jamon iberica, pate bruschetta, and clams. You won’t believe how fresh and delicious everything was. To top it off with dessert, we got warm brownies with ice cream and another grilled strawberries with ice cream. If I ever visit close to Esparreguera again, we will be back for sure! Thank you Javier and staff!

We visited this restaurant after leaving Barcelona as it was 'on the way' to where we were going.
First impressions - friendly staff (although their English wasn't as good as most restaurants in Barcelona - better than my spanish though!) The restaurant actually wasn't open yet, we had to wait 30 minutes for the kitchen to open (they open kitchen at 8.30 but the website says the venue opens at 8pm). The seating was extremely comfortable and the venue had a nice ambience, was nicely fitted out and really clean.
By the time it came to order we were starving - we ordered starters - I had Beef Carpaccio and my mum ordered the calamari - both excellent. The calamari was some of the best that i have had anywhere. Lightly battered and full of flavour. The muscles and other bits of flavour combined well on the beef carpaccio - i really enjoyed this.
For mains I had the Entrecôte steak - heavily salted and with this being a fatty cut it was full of flavour. Some small parts of the fat were very chewy. My sister had a pizza (they have a wood burning Pizza oven - she loved this. My mum had fish - again, great flavour combinations.
All of the food was beautifully presented and really tasty. So why no 5 stars? Whilst the service was friendly, it was a bit patchy for the food. My mums starter came out first, then when that was finished, my starter and main got brought out together. I had finished both of these by the time my sisters pizza came out and she had nearly finished her pizza by the time my mums main came out! I would expect all the courses to come out together in a restaurant like this.
All in all, I would recommend this venue due to the tasty food, but I think they could improve the service to get themselves to 5 *

By nature, you do not expect a Great restaurant to be placed in Esparraguera. But by far this is a terrific place to go. The furniture is great and make you feel fine and relaxed. Service is excellent and Xavi and Jose (owners of the place and Maitre and Chef) are great guys who keep trying and make it happen to make Flor de Sal a reference in the area.
We went on Sunday when on top of a great set menu they have a amazing carte. We tried several things to share as starters (don't miss the ham and fried corn croquettes..., or the. French grilled mussels or the fried Nori as appetizer....). As main dish we ordered CodFish.... I almost cry... just f.... good!!!! And don' forget to ask Xavi about his story about the wishful thinking wines... I love it!
In my opinion a place to visit without doubt if you are nearby or if you passby. Lov'it!!

What an excellent dinner experience on a Monday evening, which says MUCH about a restaurant after a busy, tiring weekend of food service. Javier, his staff, and the chef's food preparation were the BEST I experienced after 4 weeks of eating in many restaurants in the areas surrounding Barcelona & Montserrat. For starters, the fried calamari=the best I've ever eaten!! Crunchy crust but oh so tender meat. Then croquettes! Once again, fried perfection, and the presentation was beautiful. For mains, we had sausage & mushroom pizza and the Kobe beef burger with chili. All wonderful! The restaurant interior is beautifully decorated creating an upscale look that's truly comfortable. They have their own brand of wines to drink in the restaurant, as well as to buy & take with you. I have only one regret of my time in Catalunya; I ate here on my last evening which meant there was no time to return to Flor de Sal & eat again.

On a recent visit to Montserrat Mountain, in Barcelona. I stopped by chance at this restaurant at the small village of Esparraguera.
A family run restaurant, you can feel the passion shown on every course, the service is excellent and the staff is very helpful.

We have had the pleasure to Dine at Flor de Sal and it was the most inspiring experience in dining. We spent nearly 10 days in Esparreguera and chose to eat there numerous times. The service exceeded well beyond a 10 star rating. The food was unbelievable delicious. The presentation was so breath taking I decided to photograph all the courses to show all my friends. They all have now added this restaurant to the very Top of their list in dining experiences. The wines added a touch of class ands enhanced the dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Spain. You will truly enjoy all it has to offer and more. I cannot wait for my next visit.

Taken here for lunch by a business colleague. We took the €13 lunch menu which gave us 4 courses (ok typically Spanish and not enormous) each being well prepared and well presented by helpful and courteous staff. Very good value. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Some 25 friends including me chose this restaurant to celebrate a high school reunion and I really enjoyed the food, the space, the service. The owner, Xavier, made every effort to ensure the banquet was successful. This restaurant is located near the Montserrat mountains (a must-see) outside Barcelona. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Hello, how are you? Reviewing my previous reviews, I have seen a response from the boss of this restaurant that I titled “I want to and I can't”, I gave my explanations about the experience, and the person in charge of this restaurant took it badly and answered my review to my opinion in a rather cocky way making fun of my pseudonym on Trivadvisor. Now cold, I analyze my response and perhaps I was a little harsh, today I am more selective in giving negative reviews. Having said that, I am going to answer the person in charge of this restaurant:
Mr. Iceman, I am very sorry for having been so sincere with my opinion, I only explained what really happened. I was really surprised by that arrogant response on your part, because now all the people who read it will see what you are like. I really think that he is throwing stones at his own roof, and I think that if you had answered me differently I would have even removed the criticism. Having said that, I am going to say something in your favor, even if it surprises you, and that is that the first time we went to Flor de Sal we ate quite well. I encourage anyone who wants to try it to do so because we have only been there twice and you can't give a review like the one I made, (today I wouldn't give it because I know that behind everything there are people who work and make an effort, and If one day they don't exceed expectations, you don't have to react like I did, in a rush. For that part, I want to apologize to the Flor de Sal restaurant. I have friends who usually go there regularly and they are happy. But the second time we went, we didn't. It was good, no matter how you feel responsible for Flor de Sal.
And I recommend that you take negative criticism as an opportunity to improve and thus go further.

We spent an afternoon of excellent food, the service was spectacular and the food was very good, both in quality and presentation, you can tell that they have been in the restaurant business for years, we tried the tasting menu and we were very satisfied, we will definitely repeat!
