This place was and old clay pot factory converted in to a restaurant. The food is so tasty and pure homemade, all the ingredients are fresh and very local. This restaurant work under inclusive policies, all the staff os having probably the first opportunity to...work, it's a great proyect and great food.More

Nice local restaurant when visiting in the windmills. Many choices in day menu. Service was a bit slow.

This place has amazing food (the “migas” are a must if you eat at this restaurant) and its location is unbeatable, as it’s situated just next to the famous windmills that appear in the worldwide famous El Quijote. Unforgettable experience!

The Pisto Manchego was so delicious that I could have eaten that alone for lunch. I was in a group of 40 and the staff was very accommodating.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my nephew's birthday, and it was perfect! The food was delicious (they served us a huge pan full of "migas" - typical dish from La Mancha). The service was phenomenal for the amount of peope we were (60...approx.). The place is very peaceful and very near the famous windmills Miguel de Cervantes writes about in "El Quijote". If you want a peaceful and culturally rich day out, this place is the one to go to.More

El Alfar has incredible food, yes (I recommend their "tostas", basically toasts, their beef toast is from another world), but it also has wonderful staff and the best setting for a meal. Their courtyard is green and traditional (it's an old Alfar after all, a...potter's workshop). Sometimes they have live music or poetry readings. They also have a European certification for employing people with disabilities as waiters or in the kitchen, and they all do a great job! My favourite place to spend the summer night's in Consuegra.More

Spent the day in consuegra and saw the reviews for this place, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was also very good with well cooked migas and pisto. Also, the presa ibérica was lovely. They also have some nice artesian beers with...a lovely real ale. Also fairly good value so well worth a visit if you are in the town.More

My son and I came here as part of the Toledo wine tour. Lunch was 4 or 5 courses with couple of red wines sampled. Absolutely first rate. Antonio was a most gracious host. I learnt this restaurant won an award for employing staff with...disability. The meal was lovingly prepared. Manchego cheese and La Mancha wine from now on!More

We turned up on Father's Day weekend with no reservation... there was also a wedding party .... yet the staff leant over backwards to squeeze us in -and even helped us translate the menu. Starters of roast red peppers and smoked sardine fillets- delicious. For...the main course the cod loin could have been more cooked (but many places in Spain cook fish too lightly ) so if you want fish, ask them to cook it really well... but the breaded lamb chops simply melted in your mouth. Weekend menus vary from 19.50-26.50 euros. Well worth it. Thank youMore

Converted old Spanish pottery. The day we stopped for lunch it was full of a coach load of Japanese tourists but there was plenty of room for them and the two of us. Menu was just 'OK' Nothing to right home about other than their...roast lamb was quite nice. Did not think much of their Migas for starters. Have had much better as it was of a pretty soggy consistancyMore
