There's always a loooong queue for all Midori sushi restaurants, and you have to wait at least an hour here... But! Once you try sushi in here, you'll understand why you queued for. It MELTS in your mouth♡ And for that, the price isn't bad at all! I always go to Midori whenever I come to Tokyo.

This restaurant is a local's spot. There is always a long queue of people waiting and you rarely see a tourist. We visited this restaurant for the first time back in 2014 and we had such a good experience that we came back. Get a ticket on the machine and prepare to wait a long time on a queue outside.... After almost 2 hours waiting for a table, we had a fantastic sushi experience. My best so far after NY, London, SFO, Hongkong... The tuna just melted in the mouth, the salmon remained a long time and rolls with 23 different ingredients. Plan your visit - take a number - go shopping for 1,5 hours. Then just relax and enjoy!

This is a great sushi place if you are willing to wait. The place get very busy later in the evening and waiting for more than a hour is not uncommon. Best thing is to come right around 5pm when they open for diner. Sushi is very good and the portions are large. There is an English menu available but... More

This is my second visit to Umegaoka Sushinomidori & this time it was a solo visit. I sat at the counter & was fascinated by the sushi chefs prep work. Best place to sit for solo or 2 people. The sushi is so fresh and the salads are also fantastic. Green tea is served & miso to accompany your meal.... More

I went there for dinner take away on my last night in Tokyo and the queue of people waiting to be seated was really long. I had my take-away ready in half an hour at a very affordable price. I found the staff really kind and helpful, the food just great and the waiting time minimum. Considering that the place... More

Been there ard 5 pm. weekdays and didn't have to wait for long queue. I ordered sushi set which kani miso was included and it was really nice. I much prefer Midori sushi to Sushi Zammai, another popular sushi shop in japan. Totally recommended if you wanna have good sushi with affordable price.

Was recommended this sushi joint by a local. Arrived at 1145 and there was already a Q of 30-40. Collected a ticket and settle down for a long wait. After an hour or so ee eere shown our table. Ordered a number of dishes and they were the best and freshest sushi that i have ever tasted. Most important is... More
