Having been here before, I knew I had to line up early (just before 9AM). We got our table at about 11AM. It’s mainly a sushi bar that seats a little over a dozen individuals. Right beside the humongous Tsukiji seafood market, expect to get...More

I have been lucky enough to try both Sushi Dai and Daiwa, and in all honesty I couldn't tell the difference. And chances are most of us probably can't tell the difference between these guys and rest of the offerings around Tsukiji market. It's worth...More

Have you ever had sushi so good it is ingrained in your head. This is Sushi Dai. The freshest, most tasty sushi in the whole fish market (my opinion). Is the 3 hour line up worth it? Yes it is. Come early, around 6 Nd...More

Arrived at 8.30am on a Friday and only waited 20-30 mins. The sushi here was fresh and made by the chef in front of you. A bit on the pricey side, given the number of good sushi places near by. It is very much worthwhile...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

Sorry for the late reply. we lined up for 3 hours last time and that's still pretty fast. If you can wake up early try to be there by 3am and you'll be one of the first group to get in.

Sushi dai is in the inner market, so it will move to toyosu when the market moves. The relocation is on hold so date is unknown.
