This is a great place for lunch. Located in in Omotesando, the restaurant is spacious, with an outdoor n indoor dining area. Love the ambiance. The outside lounge area is calm and relax. The food is very good. I love the warm flatbread with the pea purée dip. Excellent service. Ordered the lunch set.

Food was okay - have had better hummus at home .Rather overpriced - atmosphere is lively but not good enough to make a return visit .

Cicada is an oasis in the center of Tokyo, near the busy Omotesando shopping street. Easy to miss as the front looks like a small beer garden mixed up with an entrance to a bakery. A bit confusing. Keep on going into the property and you will find a bar to your left and the restaurant reception area to your... More

Strange name for a restaurant, I thought. This was a nice place. Very warm ambiance...cool lighting! Lots of expats here. Reservations are a must for lunch. (not sure about dinnertime) They are very foreigner friendly and the menu comes in E/J! You start off with some mango tea - it is free. Very refreshing and well-chilled. They served some flatbread... I'd like to say thank you to Marina Terada and the whole Cicada staff. I currently live in the United States, Marina worked with me on making a custom menu and desert for the night I proposed to my girlfriend. The staff was awesome as well as the food. Thank you again Marina and the Cicada staff.

On of my best place in Tokyo, its good for all kind of situation, group, single, couple or business Cicada offer all possibility, only problem is that you have to reserve in advance at all time because there are always full almost, if you improvise you need to count at list one hour to have a table, but they have... Very nostalgic experience for me, having grown up in the Middle East. Spices were all familiar and given in bearable amounts. Serving sizes were fair. Lebanese and Israeli wines available. I only tried 4 items on the menu, but am definitely coming back to try the rest. The scallop and maitake risotto is to die for.

Went out for dinner this past Friday night with the wife. She chose Cicada because of the good reviews on TA. This is a nice place! Very romantic and great place to bring a date. When we initially arrived at 7:15pm we asked for a table for 2 inside because it was kinda muggy outside. They said no openings inside... More

Cicada is one of Tysons and Company restaurants (all from these group are amazing!). So nothing less than good food and good ambient to expect. This restaurant is perfect for lunch or dinner, with friends, family or date. It is just the perfect atmosphere you look for in Japan. Be sure to make a reservation with at least 1 week... More

Unquestionably the best Mediterranean food on offer in Tokyo. It is striking that 13 years after it was established in 2003 Cicada still faces no real competition. Professional staff. Lovely setting at the heart of Omotesando. Menu changes regularly with new exciting entries. You’ll find food from the Eastern-Mediterranean side too. Hummus, Baba Ghannouj, Muhammara, etc. Though in the upper... More
