It's a crowed place with a mix of tourists and Japanese people that invite friends/clients. The atmosphere is nice and the food came to the table quickly. The music is loud but good and it's a fun place to bring your clients and/or friends. The food was oke. The sushi was average but I don't think you go to these... More

Gonpachi has virtually become a Tokyo tourist tradition, yet every time I have been here the diners include large numbers of Japanese as well as international tourists. That speaks well for the quality of the food and the relative value. Gonpachi has been described as a theme park more than a restaurant, and there's a good deal of truth to... More

Service was impeccable, wait time was short, food was served quickly and surprisingly good value as it was delicious! Very cool atmosphere & friendly English-speaking staff. Try to get a seat facing the kitchen to see the chefs preparing your food! A must-try in Roppongi.

The food and the ambiance were amazing!! My boyfriend and I ordered the unagi meshi, showa croquette, torikawa, asparagus (wrapped w bacon), eringi, and the beef sirloin steak (have to try this, it melted in our mouth).

We visited Gonpachi on our first evening in Tokyo. Really loved the atmosphere & setting here although felt a little touristy, as to be expected. Food was quite nice and good for sharing. Fun night and good to experience something a bit different

A bit touristic but special location for a dinner in Rappongi Area. It seems that Tarantino got the inspiration for one of the main scenes of Kill Bill 1 Wide range of food: from soup to sashimi and to skewer. Good quality of food but do not expect traditional dinner, it's mainly a matter of atmosphere :)

The queue for this place is big if you don't reserve a table. We were waiting around 40 minutes but once we had ordered the food and drinks arrived quickly. The setting and atmosphere is just great if you're a Kill Bill fan. We ordered a selection of tempura and yakitori, pickles and beers and the bill wasn't cheap, circa... More

We went there as fans of Kill Bill and it did not disappoint. Seeing where one of my favourite films was shot was incredible. We read the disappointing reviews for food so didn't eat there, just had a cocktail. I would recomend going for a drink if you want to see the place of one of the most brilliant films.... More

A little off the road place. Best to take a bus to Kasumicho or walk from Roppongi. Serves mainly Japanese food and noodles soba at the end. The atmosphere is very Japanese and many foreigners like to visit this place. Best to have lunch as dinner can be slightly on the expensive side.
