This restaurant is fairly popular within the expat community. At most of, times there are more foreigners than Japanese people (at least at times I have visited). The cuisine is very simple yet exquisite and the prices are basically a steal for what you get. The menu is focused on seafood and has elements from Japanese/Meditteranean cuisines. If you get... This is the place to go to if you like fish and seafood. The cuisine is a fusion of Japanese / French / Italian, the produce are sourced directly from fishermen at a local harbor in Ibaragi-ken. Another plus, the extensive Sake (Nihonshu) and Wine menu wish offers great pairing with the dishes served.

Came here for a seafood dinner and was not disappointed. It is about a 10 minute walk from shibuya station. Ordered the menu set and it was great, the sashimi was amazing, as was the first appetizer. All the food was great. They have a wonderful assortment of Sake and would definitely recommend getting a glass or two to try... More

We stormed in, five people, no reservation and a full restaurant. A friendly waiter got us a small but sufficiently large table. To make life easier we ordered a menue and beer galore, what a wonderful meal. And the place is fun. OK, it is a bit touristy but so are those restaurants in Tokyo that show their menues in... More

We ate dinner and ordered the medium combo. As an aftermath we should try to largest combo, 12 dishes?, due to variety. The portion is good for the smallest combo but it the variety we would recommend. If you order it yourself for the first time, you probably won't be bold enough to order some of the dishes. Make a... This place is in one of the small lanes but managed to find it with the help of Google map. Nice place which requires reservation. You will need to ask for non-smoking area otherwise it's hard too smokey. We wanted to order a la carte dishes but the server recommended the set menu instead. He recommended that we order 2... Better make a reservation before so you don't wait too long. I suggest to sit in the non smoking part, even if you do smoke, because you and your clothes will smell like BBQ for days. And my eyes were irritated because of the smoke from the cooking. We had the 10course meal. Staff is very fun and helpful, food... More

We went for early dinner at 630 which was perfect as the crowds rolled in after 730. We were happy to be ushered into the non smoking section which was housed in a completely different building. We had initially opted for the 10 course meal but were advised against it unless we were very very hungry. That was a great... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
