I was looking for a restaurant close to the Hotel, but honestly I didn't understand Bamboo to be an almost fully Italian food restaurant. Anyway..it has been a nice surprise, and Simone, Bamboo's manager, gave us a warm welcome and provide a like-at-home meal for each one of us (we were 4). Nice salads, milanese risotto, roast chicken and very... More

This place was so nice! The staff talked to us in English, French and Japanese. They were generally really friendly. It was also quite cheap considering the amount of food you got. This is probably the best pizza you can get in Tokyo. We also ordered the lunch menu which was looking fancy and tasted delicious. Really recommend this place!

Bamboo was a favorite in the 80s; after Aerobics classes, we'd stop here for lunch. It is still great! The customer chooses sandwiches, soups, and/or salads, adds desserts, drinks as you choose. An old house with a variety of inside and outside eating spots, this is one of the few locations which can hold a large group.... and is available... More

We were there to have dinner and we chose the 8500 yen menu. Everything was great, but specially the lobster and the wagyu meat were incredible. I recommend it very much!

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
