We are certain to visit this little ramen place on every visit to Tokyo. It's not easy to find, but the neighbourhood has lots of character and once inside it's worth the journey. The staff are very friendly and helpful in ordering from the Japanese menu. It's wonderful to sit up at the counter watching the well coordinated team prepare... More

This is a decent place for a quick ramen if you are on the run. The ramen is tasty, with the soup made without MSG using chicken and bonito, and the noodles are fairly thick. It's not the best ramen in Tokyo, but good enough. I had gyoza too and those were average. Many people seemed to be ordering the... More

Excellent ramen, nice location. Even if the staff don't speak English language, they are very helpful and kind. Reasturant is not so easy to find, also because its name is written in Japanese only, but anyway ramen is so good to justify the search!

I've been going to Usagi for over 5 years already. Amazing ramen for a winter hearty meal and tasty tskumen for warmer days. The chashu (pork belly) is grilled on a traditional japanese stone shichirin on hot coal. If hungry ask for oomori size (大盛り) There is a machine to buy the ticket but the staff are being foreign friendly... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
