If you are a solo traveler, this place is great. great prices on sushi plates, and all dishes are made to order, not going around on a conveyor belt. the belt only delivers food straight to your table. If you are travelling with more than...1 person this place may not be for you especially if you are in a group of 3 or more because it might be hard for everyone to sit together as all seating is at individual counter spaces. If you have 3 or more people and you want to try this restaurant, i would suggest going to the Shin-Okubo branch.More

Worst sushi in Japan I wish I could say nice things about the quality but it just tastes like soggy rubber. It’s been years since I’ve been in Tokyo and was really looking forward to dining there. The conveyor belt was cool and all but...the food was just as bad as it gets, which is why I’m writing this review.More

I’m buzzed while writing this only because they make their drinks strongs so beware, if you are a lightweight like me! Everything was great to eat and there was an English menu option that made it a breeze! 10/10 would recommend!

Cheap but high quality sushi. I realize those descriptions don’t apply to most sushi spots but for Tokyo, it is spot in. Looked for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant while in the Shibuya Crossing area. Yelp reviews led me to this restaurant. Going in, was...surprised it was a Genki Sushi chain (same Genki sushi in Hawaii, so was leery about entering). Once in and after the first bite, super glad we went. It is NOT a conveyor belt of sushi platters going around in circles. It is an order by the plate with plates delivered to your seat on a conveyor belt. Each person sits in front of a tablet and order the food. It comes to you freshly made. It was very good and very inexpensive. My daughter and I got our fill and inky spend about $30 (compared to $60 at Kura stateside). Definitely worth going to. Also, you get hot green tea for free.More

The conveyor sushi is a very fun experience and we liked that you ordered and it arrived right in front of you a couple of minutes later. Lots of fish sushi choices, a few fried/tempura and very little vegetarian options. An earlier review said plenty...of veggie choice but that's not true. I had some tofu inari, cucumber maki rolls and natto maki rolls. The spring rolls im not sure were veggie but had no ingredients. My husband really enjoyed the experience and it was very cheap, costing around £20 with lots of plates and 2 large cokesMore

A person should eat at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant when in Japan and in Tokyo would recommend this location. At times, this place has a line of people but customers don’t linger so the line moves rather quickly. People sit on a stool at...long counters with each place having a number. Orders are taken on the screen. Your order comes within minutes with the plates on the conveyor belt stopping at your location. It is simply fun to watch! Each dish was very reasonable and a person can have quite a stack at the end. My husband does not like sushi so he orders tempura which he enjoys. Credit cards were accepted. We ate here several times.More

The experience there is pretty cool and worth going in for. The prices are great and the wait went fast. Sushi was good, not great. Orders are placed thru a machine, so if you’re worried about a language thing it’s not a problem.

This Sushi is GARBAGE!! Don’t listen to the comments. I have never tasted sick bad sushi before and I have tasted a lot of bad sushi. This is definitely the worst experience ever. Me and my partner were really close to picking after it tasked...like very very bad and rotten fish. If I ever have to eat this again I have to get PAID A LOT to even eat this rotten thing. The rice even breaks and the fish is frozen!!! But the worst is the disgusting and rotten taste. The atmosphere is very loud and you can’t even hear yourself thinking. We couldn’t even finish the food because it was so disgusting. We left right away. Do yourself a favor and NEVER go!!!More

Excellent conveyor belt sushi with a good amount of vegetarian options to keep one veg and one meat-eater both pleasantly full! Loved the conveyor belt delivery. At this place, you order from a tablet and then the order is delivered via belt (instead of waiting...to see what comes around as is the case in other conveyor-belt sushi places).More

we went here for dinner after having read all the good reviews, needless to say our expectations were not met. The fish was cut too thick, the maki rolls had several layers of nori and rice and the edamame was way overcooked. It was a...fun experience to see the sushi arrive, but the taste and quality were a disappointment.More

Found ourselves in the Shibuya neighborhood and decided to get some sushi. I’m so glad we found this place through TripAdvisor. Lines may look long but can disappear within minutes like magic! We’re seated at 2 side-by-side booths, my teenager and I, and we could...each order what we wanted and compare or share! It was one of our most memorable experience in Japan. All the sushis tasted fresh and were reasonably priced - and you can find varieties that you can’t find elsewhere! I tried a natto & okra sushi and a duck nigiri for the first time, and they were both delicious. I ordered a multi-piece nigiri plate and it was 100% worth it as everything tasted perfect. They also make the BEST unagi sushi - single piece but so so flavorful! When you’re done, just go pay at the counter. Cost us $25 (USD) for 2 ppl and opens till late.More

I really enjoyed my meal here! The line was out the door, but moved along very quickly. I loved that you can try a variety of dishes here. I sampled the tuna/salmon nigiri, the fried chicken, ramen, udon, and shrimp tempura roll. You order food...from a tablet, and it's quickly prepared and sent to your seat via conveyor belt. The quality is average, but the variety and speed makes up for it.More

There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to

Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
