There are two locations for the Kyubey restaurant. We avoided the one in the Ginsu district instead going a little out of our way to the one at the Plaza Hotel. We were glad we did. As the only Americans (in what is a long...More

Way too expensive, for what you get !!!!! Had much better sushi, for a fraction of this price. If you eat and drink here until you are full, it will easily get you to around $400-500 per person. No salmon fish at all in this...More

I took my adult son and daughter here because my daughter loves sushi so I figured why not try the best. We were not disappointed. The chef was very friendly as were the other Japanese patrons. Naturally, the sushi was out of this world. The...More

My Japanese colleague took me to Kyubey for lunch during the conference. I stay at the same hotel where it is located: Keio Plaza - so that it was very convenient. The chef made sushi right in front of me. To say it was delicious...More

We are big sushi eaters. This kind of resto is on our bucket-list when we travel. First of all, full props to them for allowing children under the age of 16 to dine. The service, ambiance and food was good although the omakase meal was...More

Over price for average quality fish they serve. Over $200 per head I expect at least a couple pieces of toro instead of average grade tuna. Very little food for set dinner even though my wife and I are small eater.

Lunch at Kyubey is pricey in a city where you can get excellent sushi at reasonable prices. But if you can afford it the omakase lunch (12 pieces of sushi, clam soup and a few extras) is the cheapest way to have a high level...More

One of our goals was to get Omakase in Japan. For the price compared to the US, the quality and experience was worth it. Chef had 45 years experience as a sushi chef. Leave the meal up to him. A truly unforgettable experience.
