A nice place to have running sushi. Not fancy, good fish, good service ( when the foreigner needs help ...) A bit tricky to find. You need to get to the 8th floor ( which is a food court) and there find the place. Note, they take last order about an hour before they close, so do not get there... More

A Japanese friend from Tokyo recommended this sushi bar and it really was great. It is situated on the 8th floor, zone B4 of the Seibu department store close to Ikebukuro station and the name on the entrance is written Katsu Midori Sushi so you shouldn't have problems finding it. You will find a queue of people sitting outside but... More

I think that this is one of the best price/quality relation i have found in sushi in Tokyo. The sushi is really good, and even the most basic maguro will melt in your mouth for 100 yen the plate (2pcs). The only incovenient is the usual with good places like this, the big line. I would recommend going a bit... More

I read about this on a website and came one night to find at least 100 people waiting. I tried my luck the next morning by arriving 30 minutes before opening, and there was still a huge queue. I waited about an hour but it was so worth it. There are two conveyor belts - one of them you can... More

so delicious and cheap. You can order with an iPad in English at your seat and a small train will bring you the sushi. Try to order the "expensive" options to enjoy the most. Toro, toro salmon, ikura (salmon roe), urchin...ohhh. Try to avoid busy hours to avoid 2h queues...I use to go around 3:30pm and in less than half... More

The hotel recommended midori. We went for dinner, but the line put us off. So we decided to go the next day for lunch. Got there early, only to find a long line yet again. I stood in line while my husband scoped out another place to eat. Luckily the line moved fast enough he didn't make go somewhere else.... More
