Given the price of its food, quality of beef is bad. As well, menu board does not indicate whether the listed price includes tax. If you wanna eat vegetables or something else, you have to pay for them, and its price is unreasonable. I can't...More

We were stopping at the Akasuka View hotel and saw this reviewed which was just round the corner. It was totally understated from the outside, but we found it from the fact that there was a short queue outside. We asked how long the wait...More

Great, authentic Japanese BBQ. Everything was delicious. We ordered the outside skirt, prime sirloin and pork belly...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit. All locals and there was a line outside when we arrived...More

Excellent barbecue, there's a menu in English, with less options, so do cross-check with original Japanese menu. Service is kind, as always in Japan. You should not miss the horse steak tartar, in addition to a whole plethora of beef cuts for the grill. Beer...More

This is a little 'at table' charcoal grilling eatery off the main street near the Asakusa View Hotel. We were seated upstairs on floor cushions, cross-legged around a table with an open hibachi of coals. (if you have any back trouble or leg cramps this...More

Our first night in Asakusa. We tried this small restaurant near our hotel. We ordered various types of meats to grill at our table. Thinly sliced meats were tender, tasty and juicy! Sides were kim chi, lettuce to wrap the grilled meat and rice. Everything...More

Great meat quality, very local casual setting, friendly staff and good amtosphere. We had beef and vegetable, both very delicious. On one side there are "western" tables and chairs, on the second part you sit on cushions on the ground.

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
