Once again back to this friendly restaurant with its imposing views. The friendly proprietor, his wife in the kitchen and the fat dog is all there. Basic quality cooking excellent service. The usual question mark: there are all the other guests? I have no explanation...why it's not full!More

Once again back to this nice restaurant with it´s exceptional views. Everything is as I rememered, very peaceful with the friendly proprietor, the fat little dog and the cats. Still excellent food. I will return.

Staying in Montuiri we ventured up the hill around 8:45 in the evening to find a sign indicating the restaurant closed at 9pm. There were two sets of diners and we asked the patron if he was closed. He welcomed us in and there we...were in the faded light with the distant lights of houses twinkling, the sound of cicadas and frogs. Outside dining under an awning. Needless to say we were the last to leave. Marvellous setting of what appears to be an old country house on top of small hill. We had fish and lamb (the kid had been consumed!) and simple Mallourquin cake with cream to finish along with wine beer and water. Very reasonably priced with attentive service from the friendly proprietor. From what I could see the views make it worth a visit during daylight, but that from dusk onwards it just seems that little bit more exclusive. Excellent overall experience.More

Once again we are back to this pleasant restaurant. Surprised that it still there when there are so few guests, but perhaps it is different during the tourist season. Still the sam friendly proprietor with his wife serving excellent food! Will return!

Once again we return to this gem of a restaurant with a view. Again we are almost alone, only one other family there? Still not understanding why not more people have fond this place, perhaps it is just the season. We are however not complaining...for having it for our self! The proprietor is attentive and friendly, the fat dog is resting under my chair and the sun is shining. What more can you ask for? Well the food off course! We both have the "Dorada" (Sea bream) which was excellent. Chocolate pudding for dessert.More

We've just returned from our Majorca holiday where we discovered this great place and enjoyed it so much that we returned for our last night. It was totally baffling that on both occasions, we were the only diners, so people are missing out on a...real gem. It is owned and managed by Pedro and his wife who are very friendly and cheerful; the prices were more than reasonable and the quality was excellent. The menu was not extensive, but we tried a variety of the food and found that the meats were terrific and the paella outstanding (Pedro is a vegetarian). The restaurant is just outside Montuiri, at the top of a hill and has its own junction off the MA15; the views are spectacular and we would recommend it as a place worth visiting.More

After a year back to this gem of a restaurant to find it unchanged! Still just a few people for lunch despite the beatiful view and weather. The same attentive care from the proprietor who was completely on his own this time.Only one alternative for...the menu del dia Aros brut and fried chicken. But it was delicious! Flan for dessert. Hope more (but not to many) people will find this place.More

This restaurant has a fabulous locating with far reaching views. The proprietor is friendly and attentive. We had the Place almost to our self, unbelievingly that not more people find their way here. It is easy to find and well signposted. The food is delicious....We and our guest really enjoyed our lunch.More

We were happy to return to this beautifully situated restaurant high above Montuiri. Sadly as on previous occasions we were the only diners, but the greeting was as warm as ever, Pedro is a charming, attentive and generous host. The food, especially if you choose...a slow cooked lamb or kid dish, is delicious and great value. This year he brought his wife, the cook, out to meet us and we were pleased to compliment her on her food. We ran out of time for a second visit this holiday, but look forward to returning next year.More

The restaurant has a local cuisine but also more mundane dishes. My favourite is Roast Kid. Situated beside a Hermitage, on a hill in the centre of the island the view is great from a lovely open (but covered) terrace. It embodies all guests from...Northern Europe hope for. I celebrated my last birthday there. Great.More
