Inexpensive and good variety. Thought we would give this place a try. Disappointed with the food, seafood fritters were mostly batter and surimi.Wedges were a soggy type of roast potato. Pity as it could be such a lovey place with the setting it's in.

Went here for my cousins wedding, lovely spot for a wedding. The meal afterwards was great, beautifully presented and good portion sizes. On the down side, don't wear high heels as the area has a lot of grass and the cobblestone areas are very uneven. Although the wait staff were absolutely lovely there weren't enough to be waiting on such... More

Came here with a group of 12 people for lunch and we all made our orders at the same time. Unfortunately, we saw other people come, order, get their food, finish eating and leave before our table got the first plate of food (over 70 minutes waiting before the final plate came out). The food itself was delicious, albeit a... More

Had been a sad weekend so we decided that rather than mope around the house, we would go out for lunch and George chose this place from the phone-book. We had a long wait for our food and my chicken was dry and tough and the wedges were bland and I think had been reheated. Didn't like my huge plate... More

Have visited this restaurant numerous times and I have to say the biggest disappointment is the wedges that they tend to serve with just about everything. To my mind they should be hot and crispy and they are always warmish and soggy. I'm not sure how they reheat them (deep fried or oven baked), but need improvement. That said the... More

Lunch for only $10. Big choice of different meals. Very friendly people. Not easy to find. It's between Te Horo and Otaki.

Joined 11 others for lunch recently. Most had something from the large range of $10 options. All enjoyed their choice. Can recommend

A local favourite for a relaxed meal in an informal setting. The food is always excellent and the service friendly and helpful. The $10 menu has a great selection and is always exceptional value for money. Never made to feel we need to rush off after eating.
