The staff were very polite and friendly and was found to be a family that had it for 30 years. Cooking was done over a wood fire outside and done to paerfection. Our friends who were with us tried the rabbit caught locally. Stated it was very nice.

T-bone, solomillo, octopus, rabbit liver, jamon, lamb: all perfectly prepared. If you like grilled food this is a must visit. Just plain honest food. Owner has been collecting motorcycles for 40 years which you can see in his museum. Just go and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Dejar espacio para Los postres. Buenisima seleccion casera. Excellente servicio. Rica comida. Buen calidad precio. Al lado del museo de vehiculos. Una super agradable sorpresa. Wonderful service and friendly staff. Leave space for the homemade desserts! BarBQ- all kinds of meats. And as a vegetarian, the most delicious grilled veggies! The restaurant is part sustainable farm, store and museum. It's... More

Had menu del día for 13.50 which for the quality was over priced . Bread was nice. We ordered grilled chicken which was dry. Garlic chicken which was just bones. The salad was dry, olives extremely bitter. Not good. If you are going there eat off the menu.

I visited expecting something extraordinary but was met with an average meal in a very busy and noisy environment; so noisy in fact you couldn't hold a conversation with others on your table. Also 10% service charge is added to the advertised menu prices.

Eaten here loads of time. Garlic soup, barbecued rabbit and wonderful orange almond desserts (my favourite meal). Lots of meats cooked outside over huge wood burning stove. Good service and friendly atmosphere with view over narrow gorge and river bed. Good shop in huge parking area plus a museum dedicated to motorbikes. Been eating here 2-3 times a year for... More

After visiting the motorcycle museum, we popped in here. What a wonderful surprise. Fabulous menu del dia, can't remember how much, but approx 12eur, three courses including wine. Best alioli and bread. Gets very busy, they take reservations, closed Saturday's.

We have been making our annual pilgrimage to El Riu for several years now and it never fails to impress. The restaurant itself is very understated, almost basic, but the food is of a very high quality. An "amuse bouche" of soft boiled new potatoes and alioi precedes two of the stand out starters; the mixed sausages and the rabbit... More

See my separate review on this restaurant, where we had lunch. The full review and photos can be seen at the Motorcycle Museum site. The museum is a popular destination.
