We love this place. We arrived after 3.5 hours on a motorway and were welcomed as usual. The food is always great and the chips are perfect every time. I love the fact that the use of mobile phones is frowned upon as we all have proper conversations and my teenager joins in too. I wish they could be banned... More

Not the first time we have enjoyed the fish n chips here, always been excellent. This time the place was buzzing, almost every table occupied yet they still managed to deliver an excellent meal in a reasonable time. Well done Paul and the gang. see you again soon.

What a find ...after a long walk we called in for lunch. Sat outside in glorious sunshine with the family and dogs. Cod and chips What else ?? Beautifully cooked and presented. A most friendly and helpful waitress. Even the owner came out. Thoroughly recommended. Child friendly too.

Went down to Carmarthen again for a week recently and had to make our usual visit to Paul at the Ferry Cabin for cod and chips. It was excellent as always. Batter lovely and light but crisp and the fish itself lovely and moist and the chips very crisp also .My only disappointment was that his real bread and butter... More

We selected this restaurant as it was near to where we live and we wanted a good meal. Three of us had different meals. The menu is large so choosing tool some time. My niece had gammon , my daughter had scampi and I has the vegetarian option of cauliflower and broccoli in Stilton cheese sauce. All meals arrived at... More

The manager humiliated my mum for using her phone in the cafe, after an important conversation about the care of my elderly grandmother. He also makes up the prices as he feels like it as the prices change constantly. Never going back here again. Shame as we're local.

We stopped at the village of Ferryside having just visited Kidwelly Castle and found this fantastic restaurant. We intended to take away an order of chips for a snack but decided to sit in for a lunch. What a great choice! A good menu and a specials board with a choice of Sunday dinner of roast beef or turkey. I... More
