Really enjoyed our two meals Sat & Sun, staff very friendly, could not do enough for us. Beer very good and well kept. We were visiting family in The Gardens and they recommended we eat and drink there and we were not disappointed at all....More

Visited with friends- very friendly pub with great staff. Only snack menu available but everyone enjoyed what they had, jackets, soup, sandwiches and pies- all very reasonably priced. Excellent ale as well!! Shall visit again

Good food at reasonable prices; good selection of beers; friendly staff; and good mix of locals and diners. It's a shame that there's not more pubs like this around. Because it's so popular, booking a table if you want to eat is recommended.
