Only purchased ice-creams, they were delicious. Nice to sit outside and watch the swans on the meare. (This is spelt correctly!) Whilst we did not purchse any of the food, it all looked good.

Fortunately the weather was great, nice and warm allowing us to sit outside next to the lake. Really charming location, great selection of food. We were only in for an ice cream but that was really nice. Nice spot to relax

A very English cafe, and not bad for the experience. Very touristy which is fine, and a warm place to sit on a cold day. Looked like the had decent homemade food, but my main issue was that they had no wifi, and these days,...More

A winter walk around RSPB North Warren and around the back of The Meare. A fairly damp and muddy walk over lunchtime/early afternoon. The Tea Room didn't mind our very muddy boots and offered a range of light lunches and hot drinks that suited the...More

Hello. Thanks for the review. We normally have quite a few gluten free cakes, and gluten free bread available for toasties - bit more a limited selection in winter than the spring / summer season. But if you do come again, hopefully you'll find something...More
