We were in a hurry to grab a bite but with the lovely atmosphere and food we were happy to slow down. Really lovely freshly prepared food and the nicest pea dish I've ever had.

After ordering we waited 50 minutes before our food came. Being busy is no excuse... More

In Summer the first thing you see when entering the village of Batterstown is an old World building, and window boxes over flowing with flowers decorating the windows, with hanging baskets galore ... yes it is Caffrey's premises ! You enter the restaurant, and it has timbered ceilings, and a welcoming fire. The tables are not on top of each... More

Myself, my husband and 94 year old father in law had Sunday lunch here today. What a lovely atmosphere and the staff were all so nice. An inviting fire catches your eye on being shown to your seat. My husband and I had the vegetable soup, served with brown bread and my father in law had the spicy wings, which... More

Had a lovely meal in Caffreys. Great sized portions and cooked beautifully. The service was excellent with some lovely girls who are great with kids and made my son feel like the centre of attention! Really enjoyed it and will be back again!

Love this restaurant....beautiful homely decor! I had the biggest Sea bass I have ever had served with stir fried veg and potatoes. Delicious! My husband had the burger but was a bit disappointed because the dressing was not very special. Mother in law wants to go back there again and the staff made my son feel like a prince! Great...
