Had a great lunch. My husband had mussels and fries and I had a salad. Food was very good and service was friendly and fast. We went back for dinner the following night for a break from expensive restaurants. We had the roast chicken and fries plus a bottle of wine. The dinner was great and very easy on the... More

We went to this restaurant with a reservation in the morning. It's a popular restaurant with seafood set menu. The service is good but food is fresh. A very old-styled restaurant in villers sur mer.

The Celtic is a small hotel and restaurant in the heart of the charming town of Villers-sur-Mer. The Honoré family has owned and operated place for a century and the recipes are all from the family. Madame Honoré presides along with Alexandre, your multi-lingual charming host. Fabulous and reasonably priced seafood is available every day. Mussels in cream sauce is... More

This was a repeat visit, the previous was last year. Food still as good, and the reception just as friendly. Prices very reasonable.

We went with our family and had an absolutely great time at Le Celtic. The food was delicious and the waiter/owner was great and playful. Our kids loved him and that made the time even more special. The prawns in particular were wonderful.

Ate at the Celtic several nights while in Villers Sur Mer. The owner and his mother treated us like we were one of the family. The food was exceptional. I ate something different every night and thought that each meal couldn't have been any better. The prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were very generous. I never walked out... More

Visited here yesterday with husband, 2 children (11 & 14) and foreign-food-hating mother-in-law! Very friendly welcome as first ones in the restaurant. Chicken and chips a handy option for the less adventurous. Chicken was very well cooked and a huge portion ! Chicken in Normandy sauce also nice. Husband had one of the special scallop meals which he enjoyed. House... More

My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I ate at Le Celtic five of our seven nights we stayed in the Villers sur Mer area because of its great food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, and especially because of its charming owners. The first night we arrived before it was actually open for dinner, but we were invited to come in, have something... More

On a rainy Saturday in Villers, our family was extremely well looked after at the Celtic, a restaurant just a few minutes walk from the beach, in the centre of town. For around 20€ I had a big seafood platter including a wide selection of delicious fresh shellfish (a little crab, prawns, langoustine, oysters, winkles and more, followed by a... More

Just got back from this charming French town and we ate at this restaurant twice during our stay. Each time we chose from the 17 Euro set menu, which is the budget option. The food was very good and exactly in line with what you would expect when you’re spending around £15 on three courses. The crevettes are absolutely delicious,... More
