We came here for lunch after visiting the Nuragic archaeological site Su Nuraxi. The restaurant is a part of a hotel and was not busy. They have a big garden but it was not being used for dining when we were there (Sep 2016). The inside decoration was ornamental but pleasant. The service was very friendly. We chose some antipasti... Having visited the fabulous Su Nuraxi (nuraghic site) we tried this place as recommended by The Rough Guide. We need not have worried. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly. The menu had a sort of English translation. There was a good variety of food, which was genuinely Sardinian and home cooked to order. It was delicious, generous and... More

Can here on the recommendation of our hotel manager. Glad we took the time to come her. It is located in a quiet street that can easily be missed but luckily was well sign posted from the main road. The trickiest thing is to find a shaded spot for your car whilst you are dining. The inside is cool and... More

We were here to visit the local historical site. We parked in the main square and saw a sign to Sa Lolla. We decided to take a look. It was a good decision. The restaurant was not what we were expecting. Set in a large garden, the building was attractive and cool despite the heat of the day. The interior... More

... but not any more. One can still see the green court, the old generation at work, but not the current one. This is a restaurant that needs a lot of cleaning and a new spirit in order to rediscover the old hidden treasure. We had two pasta and two meat dishes, one of each was OK (tough too salty),... Visited in August 2015, hidden gem of a restaurAnt with local Sardinian cuisine if the highest standard. Delicious food, great atmosphere.

After many pizza's we were looking forward to trying the dishes of Sa Lolla with the fresh vegetables the advertise with. Unfortunately the food didn't quite meet our expectations. The pasta wasn't flavourfull at all and the vegetables (which we ordered as extra side dish) were very oily. We were disappointed and would not recommend this place.

Sa Lolla was recommended by our Bike Sardinia Tour, and so the seven in our group had lunch there. The food was among the tastiest we had on the trip. Grilled vegetables, pasta with ricotta and pasta with asparagus were among the favorites for the women. The men were equally enamored of their meals. Lovely setting, reasonable prices.

Probably the causiest restaurant in Barumini. Menù with a good selection of Sardinian classic recipes as the Malureddus, the horse steak, seadas and more. The service is ok and friendly enough. No draft beer but bottles. Ok wine list. Honest place. You'll enjoy it.
