My husband and I had a few beers here the other night. There were only 4 or 5 people in, mostly staff. My husband helped one of the women to organise the books on the shelf- ready for the much anticipated travellers the high season...would bring. Within 10 minutes of leaving we were back at our guest house when my husband realised he had left his phone there. He immediately returned whilst I searched the room. There is no doubt he stupidly left it on the bar. His mistake yes. But the staff at the bar angrily denied ever seeing a phone. Too angry. It's a shame. Of course go here, enjoy the beer, but look after your stuff because unlike other places, there's no lost and found. Only the staff pocket. Consider this not a a bad review about the place but a bad review about the personnel. And a warning from a seasoned traveller never trust too freely.More
