After a drive through the area looking for a place to have lunch in early November, we chanced on this delightful place and had the 20 euro set meal, really good food and great value served with a smile and a good glass of local red wine

Good food, great setting and pleasant staff. The set menus were good value although struggled to see value differential between the 20 and 30 euro options.

This looks quite unprepossessing from the street but don't be fooled. The first part is a wine shop but keep walking and tables appear. Keep going and you come to a shaded terrace overlooking the kitchen garden which supplies all the restaurant's vegetables. It's family run with patron Laurent charming and informative. There are a variety of fixed price menus... More

Looking for somewhere to eat after a drive over the Grau de Maury, we were lucky enough to find this lovely little restaurant opposite the local cave cooperative in Maury. We had an enjoyable meal here (gambas) sat out in the back terrace. The welcome from the proprietor was friendly and the meal was accompanied by a carafe of the... More

Good service, excellent food. The vegetables are grown in the owner's garden and the meat is all local. Great ambiance - the people there are always smiling. Good local wines. I recommend Le Nain Violet.

This is not fusion, not experimental, not a foodie rallying point it is "just" 100% genuine french country kitchen and the taste and the feeling the wine and the venue makes this a great experience. Just wonderful.

Set in a delightful little village you could drive past this restaurant without realising it is there. First found it 5 years ago and made a special detour to revisit when I was close by .... I wasn't disappointed. Service fantastic and relaxed, food outstanding. Had a long leisurely lunch, baked camembert, delicious chef salad and great local wine.... We... More

Have enjoyed eating here several times. Good food and some great wines from local producers. Would recommend it.

This is a typical restaurant of this region, the place where the locals are going for a good lunch. No luxus here but good food for reasonable prices

This is a very charming restaurant and cave. The food is good and there´s plenty of it. You choose you wine directly from the cave and it´s served at the table. You can sit halfway out in the vegetable garden and see the chef come and get fresh vegetables and herbs while you enjoy yor meal. "The Swede"
