Kokum Bistro is a stylish cafe serving authentic South Indian food with international variations to serve a diverse customer base. We also have a section focused on sandwiches, pastas, and tea/coffees with healthy, vegan, gluten-free variations. We are located at elephant stand (Haathi Stand) in Amer, Jaipur overlooking the Amer Fort.

Delicious food that is Vegan friendly

Felt good vibes as soon as we walked into this lovely looking restaurant. We were kindly greeted and shown to our table followed by the owner who approached myself partner and baby daughter. She was nothing but friendly and kind and seemed she took a lot of care and passion in her establishment which I love to see and for her to come out is something I very much appreciated. We explained we were “vegan” and she was very much aware what veganism was. She went through the menu with us and was able to alter a few things to serve us the best and most delicious vegan food she could get us!! We got a vegan thali, vegan toasted sandwich and a vegan friendly pasta dish for our 11 month old baby daughter. Timing was perfect!!! And food was delicious and every single bite was satisfying. Erela nearly ate the whole bowl pasta to herself which she very much enjoyed also! The restaurant is in a prime location just near the Amber fort (short walk) just back on the main road from the walk to the fort! Overall we had an amazing experience and definitely will be back if where ever back in Jaipur! We recommend everyone who passes by the fort to come and have a meal at this fine establishment!!

Superb food and amazing location!

The food is excellent and there is an incredible variety of choices for different dietary preferences (veg, gluten free, keto, etc.). The ambience is amazing and the location is right next to Amer Fort. My personal recommendation would be to get a customised sandwich based on your dietary preference and the chocolate dosa. This hosts are extremely warm and it feels like you are eating at home!

Exactly What We Hoped It Would Be

I hate to overuse the word oasis, but when in the midst of too many dilapidated shops and dodgy street vendors, you find a bright, clean and welcoming restaurant, it can too often attract simply by being safe. That it is also everything the recommendations below claim it is, and challenges you to try new things is tourist salvation . The menu is quite broad, vegetarian prodominsting, but there are also burgers and chips. My wife chose the specialty dosa, plain cheese and I had the far better cheese and spinach,. They are a rice based crepe, over a foot long and wonderful to tear into. My wife also chose Pakora, which arrived as a huge selection of battered vegetables still sizzling along with dips. We tried the samosas, also fresh cooked, and the kokum sangria at 180r was perfect compliment to the dosa. Along with the soup which came with the dosa and dips, it was more than filling. Total for two with drinks was1340r. Highly recommended, welcoming, worth a short walk or drive from whichever hotel you may be staying at, and certainly worth dropping in if you are already at the Amer fort.

Hidden Gem

Stopped at this restaurant en route to Pushkar with my family! It was indeed a blessing. Food was delicious and the place was very hygienic. There is enough variety in the menu to suit fussy kids, people on a diet, and grown ups. Moreover the owners were happy to customize our dishes according to our requirements as well. Overall - highly recommend!

Best in Amer

Kokum Bistro, together with Cafe Ffort, offers the best food in Amer by far. I was in Amer for 2 days and kept wanting to go back to Kokum for its awesome dishes. In particular, would recommed the spinach cheese dosa, chocolate dosa, pesto cheese sandwich, all of which were very delicious. The convenient location, beautiful interiors, and friendly staff just add to the entire experience making it very wonderful. Must go for anybody in/near Amer.

Awesome delicious food near Amber Fort - #Foodgasm

Food-5/5 we tried idli, dosa, uttapam all were awesome and Pesto dosa should not be missed. Most importantly they server Jain food (food without onion garlic and potato) . They also have Vegan and Keto option Service - 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Should not miss this restaurant right opposite Amber fort.

One of the best cafes in Amer

Just off the main road to Amer, this cafe has an insane view of the fort and amazing food. The pesto cheese toast , chilli cheese toast and chocolate dosa are the highlight. Would honestly anyone visiting Amer to stop here atleast once

Gentle Hosts with delicious cuisines

On way to Ajmer, I made a halt at Kokum Bistro, right on main road in front of Amer Fort (Parking). So parking is no issue. I was warmly seated, the owners Amita n Sanjay were giving personal attention to all customers and all waiters were cleaning dressed with proper mask on. Ate dosa and sandwich, wich very tasty and very reasonably priced. I recommend to be there at least once. ☺

One of the best and tasteful Dosas with diffrent flavours

I went there with my family and found this restaurant on the way out from Amber fort. Can highly recommend it if you want to try out diffrent tasteful dosas created from the owner with a real passion for delivering high quality food. They have everything for everyone even for the kids that may have trouble with too spicy food.

Nice Ambience

The owner of this cafe/restaurant is a nutritionist and that should give you the confidence that the food served is health. It is aesthetically designed, well lit and well kept. The food is great. Location is bang opposite the entry to Amer fort.

I have visited this place after seeing the reviews but the experience could be better. We have ordered Rajasthani Thali, Pasta the salt is very less, might be people like less salt but sandwich and Dosa ordered is also average. But All the best for your next preparations.

An oasis near Amber fort

I don’t usually bother to review restaurants but this place was special. It’s near Amber fort and the road outside is busy but the restaurant feels like an oasis. We had a plate with gently spiced grilled vegetables and a lemon marinated chicken. All delicious and a wonderful change from the heavy sauces we’d been having. The owners were attentive and made sure our meals went well. The food and atmosphere was great, and I loved seeing how much pride the owners took in the restaurant and food. This place is worth finding

Amazing!

A MUST try! The best cafe/restaurant you can find near Amber Palace. So clean, healthy and modern. You must try the dosas (healthy multi-grain, or even chocolate and ice cream). Really welcoming owners who value good quality food, traditional but also very innovative. I can’t recommend this place enough! Such a nice, unexpected spot near the palace.

Lovely food, setting and service.

I had the delicious Rice Idli with and Immunisation Boost tea and chocolate dosa for desert, big enough to feed an elephant. Was great to talk to Amita and Sanjay before I left. Highly recommend :-)

Excellent place for lunch

Very Nice place too have lunch before visiting Amber Palace. The food is very good (probably the Best dossa I have eaten during my 3 weeks in India). People are also very polite and helpful + hygiene is at is best. You should try the Kokum sangria (alcohol free) it's made with a local fruit. Just excellent Thanks you to the team.
