We visited this restaurant once during our stay at Nirvana Resort. It is an expensive fish restaurant where you can choose your seafood from a tank and decide how you want it prepared. Service is attentive. You are paying for all side dishes as well....We where overall happy with the food but had no need to visit it a second time.More

The food was unexceptional. It was cooked rather haphazardly and it was not particularly appetizing. The place itself was not very clean. I gave it a 3 star because the boat ride was an experience as it was in. Complete darkness save for fireflies and...the moonlight. It was surreal and rather magical.More

The seafood was fresh, and the crab was especially delicious. Ambience was nice, considering that it had a view of the sea. However, was pricey. Our dinner for two cost us 1.7M Rupiah.

Nice ambience, quiet and not smelly. We ordered salted egg with honey prawns, Xiao Bai Choy and sweet and sour chicken. The prawn is super fresh, taste like it is jumping in your mouth! We couldn’t help but keep repeating ourselves it is so good...whenever we had one in our mouth😂 btw this is The Kelong in Nirwana Resort. Will definitely come again. **The staff gave us a crab shell to write something on it and hang it on the wall, good service!More

Super amazing experience. Offer a free boat ride to go there. Food is nice and affordable. The portion is also allot. Good for family and groups. Small plate of fried rice is good for 2-3 pax. I ordered allot coz I tot its for 1...person only 🤣 On the way to the restaurant is like going on a tour. You can pass by the mangrove on your way to the restaurant. Did manage to take proper photos of the food coz we are super hungry.More

The service crew 👍🏻 We were served by one waiter, very good service , sadly could not recall his name and food recommendations. We ordered buttered lobster, sambal kangkong, pepper mud crab and salted egg honey prawns. Very fresh their seafood. However, for two pax,...500g lobster will be too much. So do let the waiter know to get a smaller one if you have other dishes like us. We also had lover lemonade and pineapple juice. Not too long a wait for the food to be served. Go at 5:30 to catch a breath-taking view of the sunset. All in one for two pax plus service charge and gst, we paid about 2million rupiah. Lobster will be the most expensive dish of all. We love the service, view and spaciousness of the venue. Washroom quite a walk from the dining area. Near the entrance. Thks for the good experience!More

Was recommended by the hotel to try out the Kelong seafood restaurant at Nirvana. Restaurant was big and spacious surrounded by the sea. Best to go slightly early to take some pictures before the sky turns dark. We ordered chili crabs, sweet and sour chicken,...sambal kangkong and beef with broccoli. All were delicious and crabs especially was very fresh. However, the wait time for the food was simply too long. After serving the first 3 dishes, our last dish only arrived at least half an hour later when we had already finished all the rest of dishes. Recommended to try but do be prepared to wait. The price points of this restaurant is also not cheap.More

Came to Bintan and checked out the ratings for the various seafood restaurants and saw that Kelong Seafood Nirwana was #1! Of course we had to come try it out and they did not disappoint.. We had Sambal Kailan, salted egg honey prawns (highly recommended)...seafood omelette, black snapper with special sauce and sweet sour chicken basket! Be expected to pay a higher price when you come here..but its really so worth it! We booked a table for 6.30pm and were seated by the sea..this restaurant is not only beautiful but super clean and the staff are exceptional!More

Kelong resto is one of the best rated in the TripAdvisor so made us want to check the restaurant. We came early at 6.30 ish and got seated with the direct sea view, later when we finish, the resto is fully booked and most of...the visitors are foreigner. Guess we are the only Indonesian at the resto. We ordered fish and shrimp. Fish was okay, shrimp (salted egg with honey) is really delicious. I am not a big fan of shrimp but this one feels complex- salty, sweet and hint of bitter that made me love it! Compare to resto in five stars hotel at Jakarta, the price here is bit upper 😂, but I cannot complain, Lagoi is famous for the expensive area as long as they deliver good service and tasty food. We are staying at nearby hotel and bring own car so access is no problem. There are shuttle bus available for hotel residents, yet the street is so dark at night, there are not many street lights. The service was nice. The staffs are friendly and willing to take a picture for us without pretending being too busy. For the once experience, it is recommended to visit.More

Excellent choice for fresh seafood and friendly service. Toni looked after us and the food suggestions worked a treat. Awesome vegetarian spring rolls, followed by beautiful salt and pepper squid and Chilli crab. Reasonably priced. The atmosphere was grand. We missed the sunset as it...was raining, though can only imagine that it would be perfect across the China sea and uninhibited.More

We had dinner here on 2 consecutive evenings. Although not cheap, the portions were big, service was excellent, ambience is nice and food was good. It was great to enjoy natural sea breeze next to the waters. We are not seafood lovers and did not...have any seafood except their gong gong (sea snails), which went well with their sweet chilli sauce. Their tofu with crab meat did not have much crab meat. Crispy kelong chicken was indeed crispy but a little dry (I prefer my meat to be tender and moist) and black pepper beef was too salty for our taste. But thoroughly enjoyed their Thai seafood fried rice (had enough wok hey), sambal kang kong, siew bak chor with garlic and LOVED their vegetarian spring rolls. Best of all, we did not feel thirsty after both meals due to use of MSG. Bill were 900k+ for the 1st evening (5 dishes for 2 of us, we were bursting) to 700k+ RP for the 2nd evening (4 dishes & 1 Chinese tea for 2 of us, also quite full).More

We went to the restaurant after reading many positive reviews. The seafood was indeed very fresh. We ordered Gong Gong, crispy squid, sea bass (300g) steamed in teo chew style, kang kong and crispy chicken. The portion was generous and could serve 3 people. We...love the food except for the chicken which was a bit dry. We ordered 1 coconut and the water is so much for the two of us. I think the price is quite ok. Cost us $1.1m quite similar to SG price.More
