When I walked around pujasera area to look for food, suddenly I saw flies inside the glass where the food is served in ONE OF the food stall. Maybe next time you must quite aware about it and I do not recommended you to buy food if u see flies or something in that food stall.

Local food at affordable price but BEWARE OF the nasi padang stall!!! 1st pic: we were charged IDR 155,000 for this??? Definitely paid a tourist price and got scammed. It’s SGD $15+ btw. 2nd pic: IDR20,000 for the ayam rice, fish and IDR 15,000 for the soup and kangkong. We called for mr louis taxi for IDR 70,000 to and fro our anmon resort. Resort quoted IDR120,000. Just dont order the nasi padang!!!

This little hawkers center is worth a trip if you want to eat authentic local food. My wife and I had a dish each which cost about £4.50 in total. I would only spend 60 to 90 minutes here as there is not much else going on.

If you are hungry at night and want to try local food, you can take a 5mins ride away from Canopi to here. However if you are not dinning, don't waste your trip here as basically there's nothing much to shop here while not all stores are open.

If I go to this place, normally I choose Lamak Basamo stall, I did try most of the stall there, but this stall is the best one, this Stall serves Padang/ Minang foods. if you you know rending or dendeng Balado you can try here, whether with red or green chilly. as the stall is just simple, don't expect that the services will be like 5* star restaurant, but as stall their service is good! This stall also can deliver their foods to the place/hotel you stay in Lagoi. Hope to come back to eat here again, InshaAllah!

We took a hotel shuttle there and paid bout $10 for the return trip. It’s just a small food court with some stalls selling Nasi Padang as well as some cook to order dishes. More for the locals then for tourist. We had 4 dishes and rice at one of the stall and it costs only $16, very cheap and delicious. Portions are not that huge but it’s enough. We tried the massage opposite but it’s expensive and not worth it. You can skip that. There is also two shops selling snacks and drinks where you can buy and bring back to the hotel.

Ordered food for take away, it cost me 125k for 4 dishes and 2 fried rice. Quite reasonable price to think that im in Bintan resorts area. You have to find a way tho how to go here because the resorts doesnt have a free shuttle going here.

Visited this hawker centre as I'd thought that it would be hearty and cheap local fare. It was local fare but it wasn't cheap. Nasi padang (2 pieces of chicken, 1 serving of beef, 1 small egg omelette, some veg dishes. All served cold) from the stall that many other reviews rave about cost me $15 for 2 pax. Definitely paid a tourist price. I suggest that you go to other stalls in the hawker centre; maybe they won't charge as much as a "famous" one. A massage at the spa at the area cost even more than in the hotel. Skip it. The only saving grace in the area was the small stalls selling snacks and sundries. Stock up from there and enjoy in your hotel. The place was barely a 5 minute drive from Canopi resort where I was staying but the taxi fare costs $10. So putting all the costs together, I'm not sure that the trip there was worth it at all.

The area has a hawker centre, a spa place and few shops selling daily necessities and kuek lapis. Few stalls at the hawker centre. The most popular nasi padang stall, Lamak Basamo, offers quite a variety of dishes though there was not enough to serve all 14 of us when we went sligtly after 1pm on a Saturday. Stall owner was nice to get more dishes from other stalls for us. Good stall to explore the local food at pocket friendly prices. We also tried the foot massage at the spa place at the area and massage was good. Recommend that travellers purchase essential items such as drinking water etc in the area since the prices are really reasonable.

There's really nothing much here. Just a hawker centre. Food is good and cheap but cold. There's a few mama shops there selling nice chips (that u can buy back to hotel). There's one with price tag it's cheaper! Nothing much really. Massage place as well. If you go to the famous one there is free 2 way transport. I followed my driver (the one I met at hotel) and get cheaper massage and free rides too! Haha. It's all about contacts there!

Come here if you want to save money on food and are tired of eating at the hotel, if you can take spicy precooked food eg Nasi Padang and don't mind less clean/ hygienic hawker centre . Come here if you want to have a massage outside the hotel at cheaper rates or want to buy kueh lapis

There's so many food stall over there. Stall no 7 is recommended for dinner. Their foods is very good and cheap. There's spa and mini market too. The only area in Lagoi, Bintan with reasonable price stuff/foods for backpacker. Not bad too for yall who have a lot of money to spend.

We went to Pujasera on the second day of or trip and I realized it would have been a better place to go on our first day. And the reason I say that is because, if one wants to stock up on bottled water, aerated drinks, snacks, grocery items or basic needs, this is the closest market place for you to do it. The prices are very reasonable as compared to the high prices in the resort, for even basic items leave alone food. The local food at the hawkers is fine, nothing exceptional - more stuff for non -vegetarians specially sea food eaters, we chose veg stuff with egg (we are chicken or fish -no scales eaters). But , I would say it is a good experience - we enjoyed it. We went to the first spa place when you enter Pujasera and foot foot reflexology done for an hour. The prices written on their rate card were not cheap and very close to our resort rates, we told the lady at the front desk that and bargained to get a good deal.....from 350000 rupiah to 200000 rupiah per person...which was a good deal for us. So, do bargain at the Spa!!! There is only shop (souvenir) apart from the few minimarts/ grocery shops where you can get grocery and basic daily items. The souvenir shop has decorative items, fashion earrings, necklaces, gift items like key chains, fridge magnets, sarongs, which are Indonesian like Batik art. Since I am a shopaholic, I did end up shopping from there as well.....the stuff isn't cheap, a little on the higher side and you can't bargain there either.

Your overseas vacation is not complete if you did not try the local food. Furthermore, we got tired from eating at the hotel and decided to venture out. Based on local recommendation and good reviews, we had our lunch at Lamak Basamo. Wow! No regrets all. The food was good plus friendly service from Lamak Basamo.

We went there in search of an alternative to the overpriced food at a resort. The food is indeed cheaper. It's not great food but it's cheap which may be enough for those wanting to escape the high prices at the resorts.
