I brought my daughters up to this area, staying in a nearby B&B, noticed this hotel and decided to have an evening meal. It was quiet for a Sunday, that should have been my first clue. Next I was given a menu, a couple of...More

I stopped for lunch and ordered an egg mayonnaise sandwich, which was meant to come with crisps and a salad but didn't have any salad and only a tiny amount of crisps. The food was okay but was extremely overpriced for £6.95. I also had...More

My partner had steak and I had chicken and bacon pie. Both were homemade with puff pastry lids. They were fine but nothing spectacular. Good service by waitresses and I would probably go again if I was in the area
