I have to say that this place is up there as one of my all time favourite restaurants.. the food quality is amazing, and if you get the 'platter' the quantity is also pretty staggering. You couldn't get shellfish any fresher if you waded out into Loch leven just a few short yards from the front door, that just adds... More

My friends and I, a group of 4, visited Lochleven for dinner and the experience was great. Despite not having a booking the attendants managed to squeeze us in( great for us). The place is well kept, simple and nice, not a posh place but not bad kept either, just fine. The menu is quite varied and based in fish... More

After visiting another seafood restaurant and being disappointed I was sum what intrepid about what to expect however this place is a must. If you want shellfish and a menu that covers the seafood of scotland then go here. The menu is varied and covers just about every fish available. The service is friendly and professional and the view amazing.... More

My husband and I arrived today (one day after after they closed for the season) - we asked on chance if they had any shellfish we could buy to take home after our wk end trip to the area. They could not have been more helpful and prepared some scallops and langoustines. Thank you so much - we will come... More

This is the third time we've visited this seafood mecca now. There are quite a few excellent seafood places in this area but this one is the best by quite some margin, in part due to the live stock they keep adjacent to the restaurant meaning you can't get it any fresher. There were three of us so we opted... More

We aren't great seafood eaters but as we were staying in the cottage next door and the cafe had such fabulous reviews we thought what better time than now to try it? And I am seriously glad we did. We opted for the roasted seafood platter (in for a penny in for a pound)which allowed us to try a bit... More

Simple service in a great spot with the emphasis being entirely on the food. Almost like a canteen but serving seafood and shellfish better than most high end restaurants.

Amazing seafood....we were on our way home and decided to turn off the main road just before Glen Coe Village towards LochLeven. What a find.....great menu. Lots of people tucking into platters of shell fish, others having just lobster or crab , mussels or clams and razor clams etc. The razor clams were some of the best we had ever... More

Had heard good things about this place from a friend. All were true. It is set in a stunning location. The service and welcome on arrival was warm, genuine and relaxed. My girlfriend had Crab, our son had mussels both of which were great. I had surf clams cooked in sherry and ham. We have a competition everywhere we eat... More
