There are not enough words in my stunted Australian vocabulary to express my gratitude to Andy and Lesley at the Red Lion. They happily came to our rescue after we were left stranded by our rental car company. The service was amazing as was the local IPA on tap. They provided us with shelter, allowed us to recharge our phones... More

Reasonable range of starters, all tasty & enjoyable, the brie was very popular. Mains were also good, tasty and good helpings. Puddings were also enjoyed, the shared cheese board was popular, the local ice cream excellent for a light pudding.. Good beer and wine with attentive service. Particularly pleasing was that the person who needs gluten free food had a... More

The Red Lion was our evening drink and our dinner. Felt like a good representation of an English bar restaurant. The Pub was really popular on the night we went but we didn,t have to wait too long for our meal. If you are in the area its worth a trip.

We stayed at The House so it was a great place to eat as it was so close, but also the food was very good. Don't try the extra hot pork scratchings!

We stopped off here last night for a bit to eat, probably the best food I have had in a very long time. The staff were really lovely and helpful, I couldn't decide but was given so really helpful advice and I have to say the duck just melted in the mouth, I would highly recommend to anyone.

Went here on a Saturday night with my wife, my mom and her friend for an evening meal. Very friendly staff, good choice of drinks including real ales, 3 I think. Menu was very impressive and sensibly priced. When the food came out, in a very decent time, the portions were generous without being over the top. Food was piping... More

After a stressful time trying to find parking in Bath we gave up and headed home. We stopped at this pub around 4 and we're pleased to find that they were serving food all day. Lovely well mannered bar staff and great food. We ordered the smoked fish board which was beautiful, smoked trout, smoked mackerel and a lovely smoked... More
