Friends had booked stable for us to meet and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and we were served our food very quickly. The menu had a fair choice and was presented nicely. No complaints. It was very quiet in the restaurant with little atmosphere . But perhaps we booked on a non busy day.,

Simple menu, well delivered. Good service in a very nice environment. Not busy when I went, but it should be. Best place to stay if visiting Yeovil or looking for a stop halfway when going to Devon or Cornwall.

Nothing was too much trouble for the chef, interesting selection, fine wines, and good portion sizes, I requested the cheese board one evening and the selection of cheeses was changed for my requirements. Excellent.

We have eaten at Ash House Hotel several times now - the food has always been excellent, with friendly staff and a helpful team. We recommend Ash House Hotel, the best restaurant in this part of Somerset.

I remember the night well, as do my staff. As usual with these reviews, the reader only gets one side of the story so here is the other side! From arrival you and your friends were condescending and quite rude to the staff with a number of snide remarks being made. Your version of complaining very politely hardly cuts the... More

We stayed at the Ash House Hotel for a couple of nights and ate in their restaurant on one of the evenings. The setting is beautiful with a view out to the garden and the food was superb although quite expensive. However thr house wine was reasonably priced even by the glass. The restaurant only had one other table in... More

I've only eaten there on two occasions, both with 41 Club. No problem with the meals, but the price was a little excessive ! Gorden is great, as owner, and Ramsey is great looking after him (he's a very large setter). The grounds are fantastic; I'm not surprised that Conferences and Weddings are held here.

If nothing else, you really must try the twice baked cheese and chestnut mushroom souffle in Madeira sauce. It is divine. Service and ambience lovely too.
