Went in today for a quick cuppa before picking family up at Newc Airport. Not impressed whatsoever, tea served in pot, but cup was dirty !! I went inside and asked for a clean cup and a can of coke was put on the counter ! I again asked for a clean cup and was given a plastic cup !... More

Sausage, Bacon and Egg sandwiches for the four of us. Excellent rolls and nothing greasy. Full English for the grandparents were equally met with clean plates. Add... More

Had lunch there today with friends. It is so popular that we got the last table, as is often the case ! Even though it was full, it didn't feel crowded. A good selection of light lunches at very reasonable prices. Lovely cakes to choose from as well ! Parking at the door.

Good for tea and bacon sarnie breakfasts, nice cakes, friendly staff, more reasonably-priced than other places in the immediate area. Limited parking and v busy with cyclists in spring/summer.

Popped in to Jan's with my mam on my last day of my Xmas visit to the Toon (The Toon! The Toon! The Black and White Army!) Really glad we did. Very clean. Good quality fixtures and fittings somewhat aligned with the area's salubrious reputation. My mam wanted a bacon sandwich (well done) and I ordered a bacon and egg... More
