Had early dinner on a Saturday evening. Main course was good, with friendly service. Dessert menu looked good but we were too full to sample this.

I have eaten at the Northey many times in the past and found it very aggreeable. We recently attended a wedding of my friend nearby and needed to stay here for two nights. Our room (No.1) was lovely and also benefitted from having a private...More

We decided to pop out for a meal while our daughter was on a sleepover with friends. We chose to have the steak and no starters. The steak was perfection, I had the sirloin and the wife had the rib eye. Pricey, but totally worth...More

The Northey Bar and Restaurant appears to be a perfectly pleasant place, proudly displaying its (2015) Trip Adviser 4 star recommendation award. The waiting staff are fairly prompt and helpful. However the food is not to be recommended and the way my 88 year old...More

Good atmosphere, friendly welcome and quickly seated at our reserved table. Then a very long wait before anyone came to take drink orders. Then another long wait to take dinner orders. The food was good but not memorable. Charming staff,

It's the attention to detail that turns a good hotel into a great hotel. Coffee sachet in room was out of date. Inconsistent breakfast times, one leaflet says ends 10 another says 11:30? Sandwiches only available to 5pm, even for residence, even though kitchen is...More

This pub has recently undergone extensive renovation and redecoration, transforming it into one of Bath's most popular venues at which to eat, drink and stay. Having received Michelin and AA recognition, quality and consistency is the focus in the kitchen, where every ingredient is sourced through exhaustive research of our local suppliers by executive chef Chris Alderson. Our wine list is carefully chosen and we regularly feature guest ales and beers. We have recently expanded our accommodation facilities by adding five new beautiful rooms, including four new standard king size rooms and one superior family/twin room.
